Also using a Virgin organic cold pressed coconut oil on a cotton bud or swab, or your finger (no nails please) is a great lubricant and antibacterial too. Just enough to lubricate not have it melting down all over them. Can just melt and let sit then out in spoon and they will drink it and it’s good for inflammation, etc.

I would put that on a cotton bud - organic if you can. The squirting will bother most birds, it would me. And squirting a bird can prevent be able to treat in the future or taming them to want to be around you.

We use this product all the time. We love that you can spray on any area and does not burn or stain. Also it's nice that you can spray a bird that you may not be able to hold.
