We (Americans) call it the "acrostics". My Bible isn't written in Hebrew, but I do use a Strong's Concordance ( to translate the Hebrew, Chaldean, and Aramaic for the Old Testament and Greek for the New Testament.). Not all religions point this out, but my church does. 🙂

My study Bible( NKJV English) does explain this fact of how it is in the Original Hebrew but I have not been able to read it myself in Hebrew. Would love to learn.
