oh... i like your take on vox's rejection with al retreating instead of humiliating him. i feel like it is a very straightforward way to showcase that alastor does care about him in his own way.
The ace avoidance lol. On another note, I don't think he would have humiliated him either, they seem to have known each other well in the past.... Soooo
@@AshtonWilliams-iu3cs if you’re actually confused and not just mad about it, I’ll explain. For me it’s a one-sided thing (obviously because Alastor is ace) and a past rejection hurt. We know they were at least once amicable (picture they took together) so maybe they hung out a lot, and Vox could have misread their relationship. In that case it’s more like a misunderstanding ship, highlighting how Vox is mad that he messed up their dynamic with confesssing or something, and is trying to take out the hurt he felt because of it on Alastor now that he’s back. In other cases, it’s more of a he never let go of his obsession, and it grew stronger while Alastor was away, and that’s why he’s “begging for the radio demons attention”. Lastly, some people just like enemies to lovers, it’s usually a dramatic and messy trope. Personally, I ship RadioSILENCE and not RadioSTATIC because Alastor not returning Vox’s feelings is more realistic, and I like to keep ships in character (as much as it can be in this kind of ship), but people ship whatever they want, you can’t stop them (no mattter how fucking disgusting some of them are), and shipping wars are brutal. Interpret the show how ever you want, as long as you’re enjoying it that’s all that matters. :)
