Week days I’m a white collar professional, but on the weekends I like working in my shop to create, fix, restore, or just problem solve common sense solutions.

Those chippers look great, they were never imported into the UK but it would be good to try to get one

It works good, but a design flaw is that you can’t open the hood with it attached. So if you run out of gas, it has to be completely removed. And as you can imagine, it is not light.

@@danield7797 That is a good point, I had not thought about that being a problem. I seem to recall that they did a rear mounted one too which may be more practical

@GardenTractorBoy You are correct. They did make a rear mounted version.

What was the other brand that didn't work for you?

Powerstop. They didn’t brake evenly despite multiple attempts to bleed them. Pulled to one side. Truck stops straight and true with the genuine Toyota calipers and pads.

Is this driven off the front PTO? What brand is the mower head? Looks like it works great!
@danield7797
@danield7797 7 месяцев назад
Yes, this is driven by the front PTO of a Bolens garden tractor. The flail mower is an old Haban brand.
