Hello I am a regular follower of your channel and appreciate watching your regular uploads! I just wanted to point out that I could not hear your voice well throughout this whole video, there is something weird going on with the audio. My sound works fine for other youtube videos and I have had these speakers for a long time.
I have it, I want to play it.. I sort of want to get a second copy so that I don't have to swap around the ship tiles Yavin > Endor > Coroscant though, I do wish they had done something for Scum
Yeah having the ship cards be dual sided was an interesting choice. We were fortunate Ben also had a copy so didn't have an issue there. We hope that the XWA can come up with some cool scenarios in the future.
as the common people take over how X-Wing continues.. I hope, I truly hope, that Generics get a MUCH cheaper cost. they have no abilities.. why are they so often the same point cost as many named pilots?
We agree that some named pilots should not be the same cost as some basic generics but the other option is to give generics some loadoutto make them viable. Black Squadron Ace versus Sabine.for example.
Cheers to Ben G. He’s inspired me to play a similar list, but with some additional dead mans switches. Was able to get off the bonus shot several times last game.
Loving watching this. I've made a sharp dive back into the game since the announcment...finding the new point system interesting! These video's are super concise so thank you! Though i think my Empire collection is now on lock - would love to know your ideal casual collection, for games with freinds.
Thank you. we are excited to try the new points and freedom to run any ship now. For a casual collection, I would always go rule of cool. If there are ships you like the look of, definitely grab them, possibly a couple of them. Faction wise, it's hard to say, but the iconic ships in each would be a must for me if I am only doing a small collection. The 2 starter sets are a great place to get some good ships and you get everything you need to play, dice, rulers etc.
I don’t like the goofy larger scale they used on the Clone Z-95 when compared to the Z-95 AF4. I get that the cartoon was made without regard for scale, so why not compress it to make it look more realistic, like what was done with all of the ships from Rebels? I really wanted to like the Clone Z-95, but it just seems too large.
We do agree the scale seems off but weirdly we really like that. It's probably because we are a big fan if the arc and k wing and it fits into that wide wing vibe
@@OutofArcGaming that’s a good point. The rule of cool does take precedence for miniatures, so it’s understandable that they went with the larger size for the aesthetics.
It was a very dissappinting announcement for us to be honest. We are most likely going to do mainly 2.5 at present however if any of the local players want to play 2.0 then we will accommodate that as well.
Normally you drop a device in the system phase and it will go off one of 2 ways, with a mine when a ship goes over the template or a bomb that goes off at the end of the activation phase. There are a few examples, genius, that allow for devices to be deployed outside of this order and a few ways to delay them going off, Nyms ability and delayed fuses.
Hey man, thanks for the great breakdown! Quick question from a newbie, 1:45 you mention the ships come with CLT as standard, but i can't see this on the card. Where is this located and do all ships have similar additional rules? Thanks!
Youre welcome. So this is was changed after originally released. When buying the ship you get the configuration card with it or you can get the errata info on the AMG website.
