Hi, could you tell me which is the correct direction for the internal fan? I removed it to clean it because it wasn't spinning and I don't remember how it was 😢 thanks
The date and time of my PXW-FS7M2 are being restored, I understand that the internal batteries are rechargeable, but if they are already damaged I should change them, in which part of the equipment is this located?
It is an internal clock battery. The camera would have to be pulled apart to find it. I would highly suggest that the video camera be taken to someone that is a Sony professional repair to get it changed.
im running into an issue with one of my sony lenses. every so often the lens will fail to communicate with my camera, I've tried cleaning the gold connectors but it still happens time to time but always ends up fixing itself after a bit. how would you suggest I diagnose it? i don't want to buy new parts just incase its something deeper

I would not recommend trying to do this repair, send it to a camera repair expert. I have had customers come in after they tried to repair and ended up costing them more money than it would have cost if they sent it in for repair.
you can deactivate the shutter so it is not active when shooting. But yes it does ruin the images if it is damaged. Also can scratch the sensor. Best to get it replaced
@@worksperfect3279 also, what do you mean by deactivate ? Like turning on the silent mode shooting ? If yes, how is this going to help if the curtain is damaged ? Thank you.
@@panteliskalogeropoulos If it is damaged then you will need to get it replaced. just for future use, go into silent mode. That should allow the shutter to last a lot longer
Sony spare parts distributor in Australia. You will have to be a camera repair shop to create an account to order parts. Or try eBay or AliExpress. You maybe able to find there parts a little easier there
The main board, job was never completed, the new LCD screen didn’t work. When the customer tried to fix it they must have shorted something out on the main board. I couldn’t locate the faulty components on the main board unfortunately. The main board replacement and the back LCD PCB was an expensive part so the they didn’t not go ahead with the repair.
Do you have the stock Ziess lens? Mine took a knock and got a slight dent on the ring, and now I can't screw in my wide angle lens because of the little knock. I don't have the screws visible to remove the little ring. Is there another piece that goes over to hide the screws you are accessing? Thanks! ( fellow youtuber ) - Pete
They have designed them a little tricky to pull apart. They are held together from the inside. I would highly recommend sending it to a repair technician. Try and deal direct with the technician for a fair assessment. These units are easy to make the slightest mistake when pulling them apart if you have no experience. If you want to attempt it, practise on another unit that you don’t mind making mistakes on to familiarise yourself with the sets in pulling apart and putting back together.
On my a7rii the top button activates middle, the right activates left, the bottom activates left, and the left activates up. the middle and wheel work fine. Can i just replace the control wheel to fix this issue? Or would i need to replace the same part shown in this video?
