It’s the last Atari computer they made before there demise with there game console Jaguar. Atari Falcon had a Motorola 68030 chip and was the first (I think) 16 / 32 bit computer.
Nice movie. liked it. I see it was a pilot for a series. Pity it never came to be. It had good characters, effects and a mysterious storyline which made it good for more to come.
I saw this on TV back in 1990 or something like that - have been wanting to see it again ever since then. Love the epic Tangerine Dream score, which I was lucky to get on a CD a few years after seeing the movie. Great to finally be able to see it again, to connect the songs that i know so well by now with their respective scenes.
Yes I got them from that archive, sifting through every music piece. What I like is dropped in a separate folder and later I choose from those what’s maybe ready to record.edit, edit, shall I mention also the composer? Kan do it in the Next Song
@@TweetyLTWG Entirely up to you mate, I only posted the author and source in case anyone else wanted to get it. Keep posting these as it's always great to see some ST love :)
"I get no response from security on Level 6..." Well, that is because they left the boom mic down in level 7... I would like to know where they actually filmed the "underground" parts of the base. I don't think they really were able to get in the actual Lookout Mountain building in 1981 so that 7-level deep base must have been an old military structure somewhere?
The captain has some big ass depressed looking lips. I wonder if/when he has a closed mouth contented smile he just looks mildly depressed or bored rather than content and happy, If you pause the show just when he blinks he looks like he is crying with his rested face. I am sure once his eyes light up with happiness his downward turning lips won't be as dramatic but I missed that if it was in the movie. Anywho the actor was great in the role.
I really liked the concept of a planet that could move through space time like some far fetched ship. There was mysticistic scenes with merging of alien hosts with humans in some odd ways. They probably spent too much money on the pilot to get kudos from the TV backers for a series. Too bad. It was interesting, but somewhat inexplicable as to how it all could take place.
I use the SNDH-Player. Http://github.com/arnaud-carré/sndh-player/releases. It’s a windows player, but can be converted to Linux or Mac using Wine. If you don’t know how, I will gladly converted it.
