Hello, I'm Vernando, I've been creating things in Minecraft for many years, and I'm keen to share some of the journey that I go through while researching and designing builds. If you like this content, let me know and I can make more.
I like the constraints of vanilla minecraft that force me not to go to too much detail. Create mod would be epic but I already have so much to do! I am very jealous of some of the gratings and walls it has though!
That water technique to fill curves is so simple YET SO USEFUL. HOW HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE. Holy crow you're going to save me so much time dude.
If you ever finish this, the Amundsen-Scott South Pole research base is both less dense and incredibly well-documented on RU-vid. The only thing I haven't found is tours of a couple of outbuildings.
builds crawler: "this is the biggest self powered vehicle on earth" then proceeds to build a truck thats almost as big then pulls up schematic to show scale. somethings wrong here
Yeah, this is a fair point. I had to stop myself researching the truck, so I ended up building it blind and I think it's oversized. The crawler, mobile platform, rocket and VAB are all the right size (give or take internal vs. external constraints)
9:00 I may have a solution, this is a command summoning display entities like vertical slabs to replace the banners; "/summon block_display ~-0.5 ~-0.5 ~-0.5 {Passengers:[{id:"minecraft:block_display",block_state:{Name:"minecraft:red_concrete",Properties:{}},transformation:[0.4375f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f]},{id:"minecraft:block_display",block_state:{Name:"minecraft:red_concrete_powder",Properties:{}},transformation:[0.4375f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f]},{id:"minecraft:block_display",block_state:{Name:"minecraft:red_wool",Properties:{}},transformation:[0.4375f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,-1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f]},{id:"minecraft:block_display",block_state:{Name:"minecraft:red_concrete",Properties:{}},transformation:[0.4375f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f,-1.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,0.0000f,1.0000f]}]}" You need to place this command into a command block place in the bottom left corner, but it's works only after 1.20 I think
Thanks man. It’ll be awesome. Also, any chance you could eventually upload a file for that Saturn V? I’m a huge fan of it, and I really would like to incorporate it in my world, but I am an awful builder.
@@MrBringusI'm thinking of doing a build tutorial (a real one, not my April fools one!) of it as that will allow me to go over some of the detail I skipped - as part of that I'll also put a schematic somewhere as I think that would be valuable.
This content is absolutly amazing in every way except one. When explaining technical stuff you need to make it more interesting to increase viewer retention. (retention is important for yt algorithm). No hate at all. This content is absolutely amazing, keep it up!!!
Can you make a video where you slowly go through the layers of the rocket without skipping any of them so we can see how it’s built. I want to make it in my survival world.
This is a great idea - I think that will also give me a chance to cover some details I skipped through a bit quickly - keep an eye out for this in future videos!
I'm genuinely baffled that you only have 50 subs with the quality of this content. I was expecting THOUSANDS. I really hope to see your channel grow as your content is amazing
Really cool build! As a small correction: The most powerful rocket by far is SpaceX’s Starship. In 2nd place is the N1, in 3rd place is the SLS, in 4th place the Energia and then on place five the Saturn V. This is just a little detail and I once again want to congratulate you for the coolest rocket replica I have ever seen built in Minecraft! (:
