hi w00ch00.. I was wondering if after a long time, this track still exists in your files; and if so, would you like to share it with me to convert to Assetto Corsa, with some objrcts additions
Hi, thanks for your interest in the project. I have updated the Lobethal thread on the rFactor 2 forums. If you check there you should be able to find some more information now. Please do get in touch if you decide to work on the project. It would be much appreciated if you could also organise to have your efforts converted to rFactor 2 along the way
Excellent quality as always! Thanks to everybody involved! I didn't remember my Eau Rouge off! :D So it seems like from now on we have to be careful what we do in practice/qualifying - it's all on camera! Excellet also how you sold my unpenalized jump start as "an absolute flyer" :D
Just watching again and I see one of my many mistakes (the sandbanking) wasn't completely my fault. I had to avoid haybales on the track at my braking point. (16:37) That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
You have to love the Italian anthem and a nation that uses such a celebratory tune for their anthem. For your next mod, can you build an actual time machine so we can all go back to 1954 for real 😀
hey man, i tried to use the new link but i can't download it because i need to login, but when i tried to get the verification it never came and i tried to guess my old password. I'm sorry.. but can i get a new link but from a different place? Thank you.
YO love the content but can i get a new link for the OLD LongFord track? i tried to download it from rfatorcentral but does not work if you have a new link it would make my day better :]
Hi I write other day with another account, that i will organize Targa Florio with your mod, in my channel you can found live of my race and my direction. I Hope you can partecipate the next edition of Targa Florio. Sorry if I write here but i don't have yours contact. Do you have a Facebook page?
you make a super mod thankyou. but there is only a little problem, listen the various ferrari with V8 sound is a nightmare. We can't change with a V12 standard sound?
sorry, i don't have a V12 sound for it. It uses a V6 sound currently. It's the best i could manage, and it's from one of the official ISI/397 cars. I won't be updating it either because there is no time to work on it anymore, sorry
I'm sorry, but it's all a bit too far gone these days. I've offered the dev files for rF2 to a few people to see if they could progress the track, but so far nothing has come together. Whether it's obvious or not, the version you see in the video is thoroughly underdeveloped, and it's difficult for me to see it with anything other than current standards in mind. At this point I'm just trying to come up with any excuse to find peace with leaving this project behind, and being glad that at least I managed to develop it as far as I did, and be happy that I was able to learn about the track and it's history, and that through these few videos I'm been able to show it to some people who haven't known of Lobethal before, and to give an extra perspective to those who were already aware of it. And now I'm just adding an extra line to make sure the "Show More" text will be included so that i can partially hide this next bit. Here is a private upload i made a few years ago. I'm fairly sure it's a roughly functional rF1 version of Lobethal, most likely exactly as you see it in the videos. Please let me know if it actually works. If so, I will probably include it in the video descriptions :) drive.google.com/file/d/12vqRuDG-ckWn8OF9Tqzm_Y5i1MmCqd_S/view?usp=sharing
@@c0neofsilence At this point it might be a better bet to start the project again from scratch. My version is just some best estimates from fairly basic info. The data and the tech and the community expectations have moved on a lot over the last 10 years. If you want, you can get in touch on the Studio 397 / rF2 forums, or Race Department (though not regularly)
Thanks for your interest. I see you've produced a lot of videos using Longford. I'm glad you're enjoying it :) I would be interested to see Longford in Beam.NG. But it's best and most polite to first ask for permission from the modder/author (me) before starting a conversion. I wouldn't be able to help anyway because I don't know anything about working with that game, sorry.
Loved the circuit. I live locally and was wondering if it were possible for you to make a Woodside Grand Prix circuit (town next to Lobethal). It’s a shorter circuit, but it was around the same time as the Lobethal GP. HMU if you are thinking of creating it need any details
Thanks ShadowWolf, but sorry I'm not going to be able to start any new track projects. The ones i have (2) are tough enough to keep on top of, to the extent that I've had to effectively abandon Lobethal (long-term postponement)
Gday. Can you make version of your Matsasuka track without the final chicane. I dream of flying through onto the main straight top speed in 1980's group C sports car (they are very fun to drive here) without the chicane in the way.
Great video, woochoo! Thanks. I half expected to see crows in the eucalyptus at the end. Haha! Great music choice, too. I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy your fantastic track.
