Korean is basically always copying martial arts of others afer ww2. teakwondo is originated in shotokan karate and tang soo do(karate do) after ww2 and it is modern made martial arts. So there is no ancient teakwondo , ancient teakwondo means shotokan karate since all of founder of teakwondo was student of karate. most of wellknown Korean martial arts is made after japanese martial arts after ww2 except korean bows and wrestling. Even Hapkido is originated in aiki jujutsu and hawarangdo has no any real record as martial arts. Tekkyon is just foot stamping game. There is No any real historical records suggesting teakkyon as real martial arts in any documents. The showily kicks of teakkyon was came from teakwondo after ww2 Kenjitsu and jujutsu is originated in japan. Karate is originated in okinawa and its rooted in china. No one deny it as like Korean is keep on doing origine propaganda of others Haedong Gumdo’s origin is 1987 made from kenjutsu There is no historical records on the swordsmanship of Balhae kingdom. And now TKDD is all clearly originated in Kali of Philippine. Anyone who is thinking this is not originated in Kali is only crazy Korea nationalists. Do not do original propaganda of culture of others. Just honestly admit this is originated in Philippine and Korean special force is using skill of kalis. Or else it is nothing but a cultural appropriation of kali from Philippine.
Are you blund? The dojo name is literally Kali arnis center. They never said arnis is korean martial arts. And you do know Bjj is originated from Judo, kyokushin is from karate?

They know. In every martial arts class, they usually tell it's history and purpose. Stick is useful so you don't die when you master is trying to teach you. Stick won't get you arrested for carrying a deadly weapon around the street. Stick can still beat the shit out of bullies.
Taekwondo has all these techniques. All you have to do is look at the forms & you will see them all. This is especially true for the older ITF flavored TKD. People look at what they think TKD is : forms & sparring & think that is all there is to it. Not the case! Taekwondo has: basics, sparring (1 step, 2 step, 3 step, Olympic, and continuous), breaking, Hosinsul (self-defense similar to found in Hapkido), forms, & mediation. All the techniques found in Kali are also in TKD. The difference is the application or “drilling” from the flow perspective. TKD uses block counter methodology where as Kali is generally just a flow with every block also being a strike so they claim to have no “blocks per say”. At the end of the day, the body can only move so many ways & people can only structure so many systems. Taekwondo is an evolving art just like so many other arts and there is nothing wrong with that. FMA took there techniques from all that conquered them throughout history. BJJ came from Judo & Jujitsu. Japanese Karate came from Okinawa which came from China, etc. French Savate influenced them all in terms of kicking. JKD came from WC and the list goes on and on. This Master is good regardless of what people believe the style to be. Great mastery.
