The content here seems very outdated as these are all old platforms. The style and script is good and easy to follow. If you had a video similar that showcases FREE Ecommerce store or marketplace solutions that would be great. Lots of people we talk to are looking for FREE sites that you pay on the backend. The platform makes money on everything that the store owner sells through a commission structure or business model. This would be a great way to go. Thank you for your efforts.
Old doesn’t mean outdated, all these platforms had recent updates. And they are free. Obviously if you talk plug-ins, you can’t get anything completely free that has proper support, that’s how life goes. If you want something totally free, you don’t understand how these platforms are coming to life in the first place. A site is an investment like a real estate on the internet, if someone wants a free website, they are not ready to pay for a hosting or database, then I can’t do anything for them, nobody is entitled to a 100% free website.
Do you know if there's a way to push multiple products to Ecwid. Ex. I want to list a poster, but I want 4 different variations of paper. Is that possible to do with Printful and Ecwid?
Ok, so I tried to add a poster and the conclusion is that you can have multiple variants of sizes, there's maybe 20 variations available that you can push at once. Now that's the only variation, if you wanted another quality of paper for example then it's another product. But for variations of size (Tiny to Extra wide) and formats (vertical, square, horizontal), yes you can push many different ones as variation of the same product.
@Digitweaks I can't thank you enough for the quick response! In working with Ecwid customer service we found that it is possible to have different products on the same listing. It's very similar to the way it's done with Etsy. Ecwid's "Business Plan" is required for the hack. Apparently you create the variations within Ecwid, svave them, then go to your Printful store to refresh the data in your Printful store. This will import the variations you made in Ecwid, then you just manually sync the products to the variations using the "choose product" feature within your Printful store. I'm going to try it out today.
Bro, you are the first person I have seen doing an ACTUAL comparison between SilverStripe and another CMS and it is sweet that you have chosen to compare with the King of WordPress. I find SilverStripe easier because I started coding Websites using raw PHP (OOP) and then using PHP Frameworks (CodeIgniter and Laravel) Your knowledge of both is great. You seem to have done a lot of work with both. I have had the same experience though I have only used WordPress for a year! I did a mostly custom Website in WordPress did my own theme and extended the Dashboard with custom fields and when I compared it with some known WordPress websites that I know were built by non-coders each mostly relying on plugins. My website, before optimisation beat theirs even though they had a lot of plugins to optimise their websites. I still had to spend several days with Google Insights to improve the web vitals. I think I need something different for more complex web apps. I am happy to hear about your Silverstripe experience. I have already started learning it so your video may not help many people but to me it is GOLD. Thanks, man.
No one seems to see the reason in that decision. This company meant to sell itself, and then be bought by someone in a few months. New director are here to make it happen, and decrease the price as well. It is also possible that their direct competitors have their hand at it.
I used a handbrake to reduce the size of a video, and when I put it in Premiere to montage and then export, the video size returned to the same as the original. you know how to fix?
Technically you can create proxies to reduce the size of the videos to edit, then export and use handbrake to compress the video. Obviously whenever you export from Premiere, you create a new uncompressed or barely compressed file that you will have to reduce in Handbrake, so Premiere does what it’s meant to do in that case.
I came here wondering if there is a way to make handbrake the original transcoder. That way I don't need to translate it to ProRes like you do in this video. I've used this technique before and it works super well, but my issue is that I simply don't have the required space for exporting TBs of data since I often work with footage that is hours long and very high bitrate. Do you know of any plugins that work with Premier to make handbrake the encoder?
@@Digitweaks nevermind I found the solution. Exporting X264 from Premiere Pro CS6 - CC2022 using a plugin called Voukoder. It is 100% Free Open Source GNU License, and it has All X264 Presets you can find as in its original source code. It's using FFMPEG engine by the way. And the Voukoder Plugin can do X264 X265 H264 H265 Pro-Res etc etc. It can even do X264 10 Bit HDR
Thanks for your comment, grandly appreciated! The file size will be the same for both codecs at same bitrate but under 10Mbps the h264 from Adobe is full of artificts compared to the x264 and the lower you set the bitrate the worse.
