Why do you say avoid a slit? I'm 5'9", about 6'1" with my pageant heels. I'm considering having a slit put into my gown. It would be in front of my right leg, and come just above my right knee. I'm considering this because, as a tall woman, my legs are long and my stride is pretty long. I want to feel free to walk as I normally would without feeling encumbered by the gown. I also think a slit allows me to display a little of one of my best features. I've seen gowns that were cut all the way to the top of the wearers thigh, which I feel is way too revealing. But if there is some hard and fast rule about having a slit in one's gown, I'd like to know what it is and why. Thank you!
no one is saying anything about their experience, so i’ll let you all know how mine went after i go! super nervous, but everyone else is so don’t be intimidated girls! we got this!
I got an invitation today, but the funniest thing about this is that my teacher asked me YESTERDAY if I do pageants because of my crown collection. So I guess the answer is yes now...
I've also received an open call letter both in 2016 and yesterday even though I'm a male and NAM assumed my gender was female I think because of my name Dezi. I told them in 2016 that I was a male and if they could take me off of their mailing list but I guess I'ma gonna go now since they seem to not believe me.
One comment that I can't see..........4 thumbs up out of 1.2K views....hmmmmm and it is not free to enter. I'm curious because I have a grand-daughter entering. One video with one supposed winning participant could still be a scam.
So im thinking this NAM for teens, at least, is a scam. Im not sure about the nationals. I got a letter we went and it was a rather big event. My daughter even got selected. Buuuut they claim to be part of the BBB which is a lie it straight up says not associated with BBB and they have a 2.7 rating. I can't find any pictures of the Miss Colorado Queen Teens I saw there on google or anywhere. So beware, before you give them money. I'm still looking into it, though, but it's not looking legit as of now 🤔😤
Thankyou so much for this information. Been looking for it but no where on RU-vid until I came across your channel. Wish me luck as I plan my first ever national pageant and hopefully international pageant one day🙏👑

Are plus sized women able to compete? If so, I would really love to try, but if it is gonna be a humiliating process, I am a bit scared to try it out...
My daughter received her letter in the mail she’s so excited I’m so excited to see her that happy over something she loves doing thank you guys for allowing us the opportunity
