I always supported RED tat tamal, but the blue do a good show too!! Must must have both clubs to keep this festa strong.. not the same with only one.... In melbourne however, only one strong maltese banda, MMG concert band !!
Mate, the first time I have been to Malta in October is fantastic weather. I will do it again 👌.I like little ardier bay to around the corner from their hidden gem.
Naxxar is lovely. I stayed here last year at Selmunett. It might be too quiet for some as it doesn’t have the beach scene but yes it is upmarket, safe and quiet. Was perfect for one of my teens introductions to Malta as quite central to some of the great beaches but also Valletta not too far. Very peaceful sleeping. Reminded me of the lovely suburb I live in in Moonee Valley. Awesome supermarket Wellbees there a number of restaurants and well kept houses.
Saint Paul's Bay, with Buggiba and Qawra, is a very uninteresting place for tourists in Malta. It looks very sterile here like in some tourist ghettos in Spain or Italy. If you want to really get to know Malta, you have to book a hotel in Sliema, San Giljan, Mellieha or Valletta. The side streets still have the old, typical Maltese flair with wooden balconies and quaint little shops and pubs.
In 1996 Malta was a different place and after a morning checking out the temples (uncovered and barely signposted) not like today, I decided to strip to underwear and swam here. No one was here ! Magic. Different times. But also really like the Malta I see today. People tell me sharks are known at Ghar Lapsi?! Skeptic 🤨
Love Malta, stayed at the Qawra palace many times as well as other hotels in the area, The cheeky monkey is a great place to eat serving two for one cocktails early evening, my favorite place to dine has to be the ocean basket, fresh seafood daily! 🇬🇧🇲🇹
Thanks so much for these. I’m the Maltese one my husband of 20 years is the Anglo Aussie. He hates flying with a passion but you’re videos are very much helping to entice him to do the flight ! 😊👍👍👍
