My People... Behind the Edge is a channel I started because I Love talking about knives, checking out knives, and enjoying them, but lacked anyone to share them with. So now I share them and my opinions about them with you!
Kind of gimmicky but...i change out my buck strider from the serrated blade to the plain edge sometimes...it's not as easy as changing a blade in that thing
Harbor Freight on that mini glimpse at 61, the DDR Camilus is d2 ...I'm not sure if I ever tested that one. They're yours bro...give em to your kiddos if you want. I don't need them back.
You should try Plasti Dip on those quickie studs (or what ever their cslled) on that Prakis. We have the elementum and Prakis and a few others. Some good brands as well at our Wally World. Thanks for the video good stuff
@@cxruppt9071 sorry you didn't find anything in this short useful. Can only get so much info in a one minute clip. That's why I made a few of them. Thanks for watching anyway
Nice. However. Once I learned civivi was a communist made knife in the USA. I will never buy one. I was taught to judge a person by the knife they carry😂. 😅😂
K390 and CruWear definitely top steels for knives in my opinion. If you need stainless MagnaCut is the only thing that comes close to these in terms of toughness/wear reaistsnce balance.
The blade thickness on this is 150 thousands, not 190, and actually to be precise it is 3.85 mm, I don't understand why you people insist on using fractions of an inch for measurements this small, it just makes everything more confusing. I get 1/2", 1/4", but "thous" are just absurd...
@@bluttbeff it's literally everything made in China. Which is more then half the stuff Americans buy. Unfortunately unless we buy nothing, it's an unavoidable truth. It sucks.
honestly 50ft of cardboard can do alot to show if edgeretention is at the very least acceptable, cheap knifes can start to become less userfriendly in my experience after putting em tru it, so if a knife holds its sharpness after that, atleast we know they are good for that ^^ looking forward to see what else u come up with, aside from just cutting straight into wood or smth >_<
I have seen of those cardboard tests done by Gerald (Outpost) where D2 does worse than some of those simple steels like NitroV. And on the rope cutting tests by CedricandAda the D2 does better.
