There is nothing inherently boring about the sound of the 180 degree engine. It’s actually unique. Most of the negative reaction around the 180 engine is just snobbery fueled by motorcycle reviewers who are probably comparing them subjectively to more powerful platforms as the 180 rarely is used in anything larger than a 650.
Plenty of 180s that sound great, especially with a nice pipe (or slipon) attached imho. However, I do think the 270s sound somewhat leaning in between a 'regular' 180 and a v-twin has its charm for sure. At least to my ears. It's very personal of course.
I love this brand.... I can't get enough of looking at them.... all the bikes produced by this company are visually exceptional.... I hope to own 1 soon
Since Harley archived its evolution engine, Shineray purchased the license rather than copying it, the engine is built by the Italian SWM, the power is equal to the latest Sportster 1200 with improved rigidity and resistance of the crankshaft. They added cooling fins on the cylinder head, reinforced pistons and above all much improved brakes! ...and since Italy is famous for engines, I'm thinking of buying one!
