We sell the awesome Haibike, Lapierre and Raleigh electric bikes! Our ebike's have the most reliable motor systems available from Bosch and Yamaha.
My family business started selling and repairing bicycles in 1948! We have a bricks n' mortar shop nestled in Shoreham West Sussex full of interesting ebikes, accessories, and components. We are Open 6 Days a Week 9am - 1pm, come and have a cheeky espresso and look around our showroom if you are in the market for a new eBike. If you live further afield, put the kettle on and arrange for a video call so we can show you around!
We love electric bikes, we believe in the power of cycling, it's our passion and our goal is to share that passion with you.
I just got my Haibike trekking 4 and i have an issue with the pedal assist, it works fine for 5 seconds after turning the bike on but then after that it just doesn't work anymore. Any tips?
Lovely bike! I would recommend checking with the shop you got it from, and ask have they serviced it correctly initially. Sounds like a speed sensor error maybe. If you are local to our Shoreham store bring it down for a service. Hope that helps.
Hi Guys, When you use ANDROID there is information (before bluetooth connection) that you need special app to use the device. I can't use Komoot. I can connect to eBike only with use eSyns. Do you know any soldution who to solve the problem ?
I’m sorry it isn’t something we have come across. We are interested to know how you resolve it in the end. We have had people in the Komoot app connect but always with Apple products.
Thanks for the info! Bit of a specific question from me: can I change the version of the system from Euro to North American? The - button on the control unit is broken so the bike is stuck on a high setting. In the US version, I read that the bike resets to 0 assistance after every shutoff, so I can bypass the - button!
No problem. As I understand it you can’t change the versions from Euro to American without explicit permissions from the manufacturer of the ebike. They have ultimate responsibility for the product software parameters. I hope this helps.
Hi there Thank you very much for the review. Any chance you can confirm a 100% that the battery can be removed and charged separately from the bike ? Best regards
It can be in a few different places, sometimes it is on a qr code with a # preceding it, other times it may be stamped into the frame between the rear wheel and seat tube towards the motor area.
Hi I have the CF 8 allmtn so remove the battery in the same way I understand but can’t find information anywhere that there is some adjustment on the contacts at the top of the tube as my battery seems quite loose even when fully clipped in and has been cutting out while riding. Do you know the details on this also saw another video about a replacement upgraded clip that resolves this issue.
I haven’t heard of this as an issue. It would be best to get it checked over by the shop you purchased from as it could be to do with not setting the ebike up appropriately from new. A pre delivery inspection should have picked up on it, but also it is part of the Bosch Smart System service that should have also been carried out and saved to the eBike motor for future reference.
Hi! I have just bought a Haibike with display Yamaha Interface X and I cannot connect it via bluetooth to e-Sync app. Do you know how to make it? Do you know how to activate bluetooth? Thanks for your support ; )
Best to switch the eBike on and it should show naturally in the app as a potential eBike to connect to. As most of my customers use iPhones we have more experience connecting the ebike to third party hardware (ROX display for example) and in this instance it shows the potential e-bikes to connect to when you go to the add ebike screen on the third party display.
It all comes separately, in our experience best to get it fitted at your local Bosch eBike dealer as they should have the brackets and cables in stock. :)
They are a little hard to get hold of now but you should be able to find a Haibike dealer with stock. Use the Haibike dealer locator on their main website to find your local dealer. :)
I believe it’s because it can vary dramatically with frames that angle downwards in the way the Haibike frames can/do. It’s always best to sit on a bike in the flesh for stand over height if you can. We do have small ALLMTN machines in store (10’s). The top of the lowest part of the ‘horizontal’ toptube on our ebike in store is approx 69cm from the ground. I hope this helps.
£500 approx for the powermore Bosch range extender which is shown on the Bosch eBike Systems website, new for 2024. It is worth noting that you will need to get a Bosch dealer to plug the ebike in to make sure it is compatible or check on your FLOW app as this is a very new system and the ebike has to have been designed/approved for the use of the powermore 250 by the manufacturer. As for other dual battery systems using Bosch batteries it is also predetermined by the manufacturer if it will allow for dual battery so check on your app or get the store to plug in using their diagnostics. :) the other dual battery options will be much larger capacity batteries so will be more money, I would expect it to be £1,000 and up. I hope this helps.
Good question, no it is wired in at the motor end. You could remove the back plate and batteries and leave it in the midday sun for a few hours. The systems are water resistant but not fully waterproof so will need to ‘breath’ when the atmospheric conditions change. In our experience just go out for a ride and as it warms up the condensation will go. I hope this helps, please visit your local Bosch dealer if the problem persists.
You have two keys unique to the eBike. You could remove the battery whilst parked up to devalue the machine for would be thieves and to make it more difficult to ride. The alternative is upgrading the display to a Kiox or Nyon and using the head unit as a ‘key’ for the motor electronics. This costs around £9 in the Bosch eBike Systems app. As always security coding, a tracker and gold sold secure lock is the best deterrent for thieves.
