I watch pedal demos constantly. I've seen thousands. The opening jam on this video is _by far_ my favorite tune I've ever heard in a pedal demo video. Is it released somewhere?
Whoa! Thank you so much!! Sorry for the delayed response, Covid really sucks, been down the last week plus. This is by far one of the best comments I’ve ever gotten. Super glad you dug the sounds. I do this all by myself and am absolutely TERRIBLE at getting my bandcamp updated, but there are some tracks from a few later vids up there. I’ll work on getting this one up as well!! If you want to check it out theerraticmusic.bandcamp.com/
Your videos are awesome! I've watched a couple this morning and I love the format. It's unique and sets you apart from a ton of other channels. Plus, the sounds you're creating and the example use-cases you include are perfect for showing the versatility of these devices. Great work!
This is incredible to hear, thank you so much!! I have been trying to set myself apart from lots of other channels and that’s so good to hear that it translates. Really appreciate your kind words!!🤘🏻
That section with the pocket operator is extremely fun. That last section with the unbalanced stereo is just so darn full of texture and movement. Nice. 🤩
Awesome to hear!! Thank you!!! Genuinely an absolute favorite piece of gear with tons and tons of uses. Found out it’s actually pretty polarizing after making this vid, I guess not everyone loves the far out sounds!
Great video, awesome sound (interesting and ear catching) with wonderful use of the stereo field! Thank You for sharing your preset's to Patchstorage - I have enjoyed and benefited musically using them!
Awesome!!! So glad that you’ve found some fun and use with the presets!! That makes me so happy! So many amazing ones in the patchstorage. I appreciate all your kind words!!!
Thank you so much!!! I thought so too! Mood does amazing with plonky random sounds so I thought it would be a good pairing. Definitely a favorite pedal. Glad you dug it!!
Great video! Very interesting soundscapes you got going there. I love how everything in this video sounds dark and twisted in a way. I used to have the deluxe version, bit unfortunately I found the latency still too apparent for realtime guitar playing. The thing that bothered me most though, was that when I increased the depth of the vibrato, I noticed that the centerpoint of the vibrato started to shift up in pitch. That meant that all but full wet sounded awfully detuned, and full wet did have the latency issue. Too bad, because I love the character of these devices. Curious; at 5:18 you switch the device to random modulation, but a whole lot more changes in the sound. I really love that bit, and keep coming back to it. I do perceive bitcrushing, tape-stops, reversing… what is it you did right there?? All the best! Keep making these crazy and lovely videos please 👍🏼
Thank you so much!!! Really appreciate everything! I have to agree on the latency and the detuned sound. When I do use it I tend to stick to full wet vibrato, which I think it does amazing! And yeah, that 5:18 mark needed a lot more explanation as to what’s going on. Flipped the loop that was playing backwards and I think pitched a bit. Only the second vid I did, so was still getting my feet under me. Thanks for checking out and liking my weird channel, haha!
Cool stuff. They keep making some seriously dope pedals that to my knowledge aren’t being replicated with plugins or hardware. Imagine Radiohead getting a hold of one of these during the Kid A / Amnesiac sessions.
Would be supremely mind blowing to see what Radiohead could do with this gear! I can only hope they use some Chase Bliss in their sound, it just fits so perfect. They really do push every boundary, and I agree I haven’t seen their sound in other pedals or plugs (albeit I don’t use plugins and it might exist without me knowing). Thanks for checking out my sounds!!
@@theerraticpedaladventures3197 check out That Pedal Show’s episode with Ed O’Brien. It’s so good and goes into all his gear. I’ll see if I can add a link.
@michaelsnydermusic oh yeah!! Watched that episode a few times. Ed is a wizard with any gear!! And I love how enamored they are watching him play, so amazing. Gonna have to revisit.
@@theerraticpedaladventures3197 watched it twice too. There’s also a couple videos he did with Dan building a pedal board. Just subscribed btw. Look forward to getting into your content. I was a pedal freak in the late 90’s and still am to this day. Most of my stuff is ambient guitar so this channel should be right up my alley!
Oh it’s so fun! Still my fave fuzz pedal! Actually was a friend that recommended Fuzz Imp. Such a great recommendation! I started with the Shroot II and Drone Gazer, then got the Creature which I fell hard in love with! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a super tweakable and brutal fuzz. Definitely super boutique, single person company.
I could love post-rock and ambient music just because of how hard the titles go :D And also because the music is just great. Both of those are the case here :)
Oh that’s so good to hear!!! Very much enjoying the direction the channel is going. The fact that it feels more engaging is the biggest compliment I could get! Thank you so much!!!🥹
It’s always so fun to go back and revisit pedals that you haven’t played for a while. Stoked that my vid inspired that!! Bask in that Sunlight my friend!
Incredible demonstrations, warped (and delightful) sounds, and thanks for featuring the Left Brain. Nice to see a collab w/ tha missus! Hand dancing approved!
Thank you so much!!! Sunlight and Left Brain are a match made in pedal heaven! The incredibly slow movement unlocks so many sounds. Nothing is better than creating with the missus, so this was a very special clip! The hand dancing might just have to continue…
Thanks for you and other talented "sound sculpters" for loading these up on patchstorage for the community. I've been enjoying "Dr Octula 2" in particular.
@@theerraticpedaladventures3197 you are definitely on a good path when those names get conjured up..also Lawrence English and Tim Hecker…lol..there’s a whole other world waiting down those dark rainy steets
Help, Current Status: Lost in a Wormhole of Self-Oscillation! Seriously fantastic overview of the LVX. Thanks for featuring the @pedalbrainz Left Brain!
Sending rescue vessel with snacks, horror movies, and pedals! Y’know, the essentials. Thank you so much!!! Left Brain was super fun to pair with LVX. A match made in expression heaven!
Thank you thank you!!!! Was such a fun vid to make! And oh my gosh, I couldn’t even imagine how cool an EnzoX would be!!!! I would be all over that so quick!
Thank you!!! It was a super fun to make, just did a one-and-done shot, glad my playing was at least decent🤣 Gonna use the two shot setup going forward, I dig it! Just have to get used to playing on camera…😬
