@OutsideLifeFishing well, that's what I was after with that bait. I had a big bluegill out for a flathead, but it took the one I threw out for channel cats . So you never know what and when will work.
Hey bud just saw a couple of your videos, nice to find a man who catfish from a canoe. I have a Old Town Saranac 146 canoe and it's better than a jon boat!!! There's so much space that I can carry all my camping gear, grill, a huge tank for cooking, lawn chairs etc, holds up to 750 lb... can stand and hook fish hard without tipping. Greatest wide flat bottom canoe made. How about telling us about your canoe and set up, new people are thinking about getting a canoe but there's not enough people who use them give any advice. Keep up the good work 👏
I appreciate your comment. I enjoy camping so you summarized my sentiments on this canoe perfectly. I’ve been planning to make a video about my build soon. Ive only had it for about 7 months so I’m still doing some tinkering a bit. Just but the 2 cycle on this week. Give me a little more time and I’ll be sure to cover my entire rig, including the trailer.
Nah we don’t typically eat it. They thrive in our area and get to some pretty crazy sizes so I often target them for sport. Our favorite fish to catch and eat is trout, ironically.
@OutsideLifeFishing I'll have to send you some WeGo Worms. It's a bait I designed to catch bass. You just throw it out and reel it back with your bass on.
