This track, for me, symbolizes and captures the cold, automation of Computer Systems and Networks as well as the digital 'can of worms' that was opened with the advent of Social Networking. When I hear it, it brings to mind the NSA, GCHQ, and other groups of that ilk.

Josh collaborates with tons of people, and has constantly taken backseat to other singers, even in his own band, much like having his frequent qotsa collaborator, mark lanegan, sing this song, and being iggy pops backing band, or being a drummer for eagle's of death metal, just like jack does for dead weather, and then jack takes his ego and collaborates with the guys in the raconteurs, so idk wether they can get along, but it wouldn't be because their egos won't allow someone else to have proprietary ownership of a song
