Hello! Hope someone can help me on this. I have a 3 week old kitten going onto 4 & he was rescued so he doesn't have a mommy. Hes been really good with eating, active/playing, voiding every feed & pooped once. Today marks his 3rd day without pooping & I'm getting nervous since I'm trying to stimulate him & nothings happening. How long should I do it for? Is putting him under warm water a better option? Anything suggestions help!! Thank you!
Found a kitten in the road two days ago and the poor baby hadn't pooped since. We were worried about trauma to her internal organs. Tried this method and she pooped right away. Thank you SO much for this.
Not sure how this ended up on my feed. I don’t even have a cat. Curious, though. How would you apply this method to let’s say… a 140 lb human female who hasn’t pooped in 3 days? 😅
You seriously SAVED this kitten I rescued🙏🏻 She’s 4 weeks old hasn’t pooped in almost 5 days. All it took was maybe 5 mins… Then she finally pooped 3 semi hard poos, normal color no blood nothing concerning, just a happy kitten ❤❤❤Thank you SOOOO MUCH for your helpful video!!!!!!
My 6 days orphan kitten couldn’t poop for 2 days and I was so worried about that because it’s my first time taking care of a kitten and I tried everything to make it poop but nothing really worked but after doing this method the kitten finally pooped 🤩Thank you sooooo much, you really saved the kitten ❤️✨
Hi! I just came across your video I don't know if I am doing it right... I've been trying this method and I'm not sure if its the pressure I am applying or maybe I am hurting the kitten but she won't poop at all and I am so desperate for help :(((
@@motobeb2586 it works most of the time, but if it doesn't then I suggest a vet trip to see if there is any other reason baby can't relieve itself with stimulation.
You are an ANGEL!!! I rescued a little 5 week old baby from the Bronx and he hasn’t gone to the toilet in 3 days, took him to the vet, 1 enema, ultrasound, X-ray and $632 later still nothing. Then I did this before taking him into the vet again and VOILA long hard poop came out after about 5 minutes 🥹🥹🥹 sooo happy the little darling was so relieved he’s fast asleep now. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! it's been 5 days since my kitten pooped. he was very bloated; his anus is moving yet he's having a hard time to release it. i followed your instructions and took me almost 30mins before he finally did it 🥲
@@fatima-zahrarabtaoui3810 absolutely! Just make sure if you use water to have the water warm and completely dry kitten after. Kittens under 4 weeks old can't regulate their body temp so being dry and warm is vital. You can do the massage without water.
I am so freaking thankful for your video! I saved a maybe 3 week old kitten out of the middle of a busy road 2 days ago, and he's been eating and peeing, but no poo. Just tried this and got a little out 😭😭 thank you so much. Maybe there is hope for my little fighter now, I was so scared ❤
@@1RexRacer1 by tweaking I meant water to formula ratio. If kitten is extremely constipated to equal parts water and formula until bowel movements are normal, then lessen the water to formula to ratio to what the formula suggests.
Question. How would this look on a newborn (1-5 days)? I have a baby who has not pooped since we got her yesterday morning, umbilical cord still attached and all. Not even sure if shes had that "baby poop" yet.
@@Lin-wp2wr do not use water because kittens that young get cold too easily and can't regulate their body temp. Just do the massage with a little less pressure.
Update! I continue trying this method every 30 minutes and also stimulating with a warm, wet cotton round and FINALLY they pooped and it was so so hard I can tell they were having difficulty and they’re doing much better this morning. Thank you!
I watched this November 15th two days after getting my 3 week old kitten who was orphaned, I had to bottle feed him and give little baths in the sink almost everyday after helping him go to the bathroom, I cleaned his eyes everyday because he had an eye infection, I taught him how to use the litter box, taught him how to play, and we grew so close, he slept on my neck in my hair every night because he was so tiny, I named him mouse. I did some calculations and found that he was most likely born around October 10th, so I made that his birthday. He was the coolest boy I ever met, he knew his name and he was fearless, he even fought with our dogs. He hit his first birthday and he was showered in turkey slices and tuna. He was my baby. October 27th he was outside in the daytime to lay in the grass and bask in the sun on my porch before he comes in to sleep all day, as per usual, only he didn’t come home, and after a year of looking I accepted he never would. not a day goes by I don’t miss my baby. all the poop and nasty eye boogers, waking up at 7 am to bottle feed my baby, I’d deal with it all again if it meant I get to see him again. I don’t know why I’m writing this because I don’t think anyone will see it, I think I’m mainly writing this so I never forget everything we had and did, how tough and amazing it was raising him, he was my baby, and I never want to forget him. okay so nevermind 😂 kitten pooped in like one minute after this lol i wanted to ask also, do you know how often i should do this it kitten is still constipated? My kitten doesnt have its mommy so im bottle feeding him, i think the KMR is making him a little constipated.

Not trying to be rude or anything I do love your videos but um question here why did you have to scratch their or up there you know what like why there like maybe rub their stomach or something cuz that helps me go number two sometimes but why there?.
Hi i have a kitten and it stop eating and pooping for those who this dont work you might have a suception its when the gut of the kitten kinda flip on himself and this can only be fixe with surgery we paid 3800$ for our kitten and she survived because of this she was necrosed in a part of her guts i feel bad cause surgery is way to expensive and in 3 hr its done so i really dont get the point if you love animal dont make a crazy price like that

The person who found him inside a taped-up box had been nursing him with human breast milk for about a week, which messed up his digestive system. That’s why he barely ate since I got him, and I had to force-feed him, so I wasn’t too worried about him not pooping, given he wasn’t getting enough milk. But it’s been a while now, and he's been drinking more milk each time. I was getting really worried, so I looked it up (it’s 3 am, so I can’t go to the vet) and found your video. It worked wonders! Thank you so much for this. I have two 4 week old foster babies. Their momma is a stray and she never made it back so I’ve been bottle feeding them and they are both constipated. It’s been 3 days since the bigger one has pooped and it was starting to worry me. I tried this and he immediately went within 20-30 seconds!! I can sleep now knowing he’s got a little relief

4 years and you’re still saving lives ma’am. My two weeks old has not pooped for 3 days (since the day I found him). Looked up, found your video and within 30 minutes we got three hard constipated stools:)))))
