That is a terrible design for deck mounting and removal. That front double nut is such a bad idea. Now once off you have to fiddle with adjustment over and over until you get it right. NOT GOOD! I have a simplicity brand and the deck removal and installation is so easy. It can be done in less than 1 minute with absolutely no tools. Husqvarna needs to get on board.
it's not, he should just do it properly. the two parts he zip tied up can be removed just like what he calls swaybar. It's really easy to remove and mount, no different than any other name brand mower.
The 90 degree end goes in the frame near the transaxle towards the rear left tire. The front part with the cotter pin hole goes towards the mower deck and attaches on the right ("passenger") side with a washer and cotter pin. At about 10:40 of this video this guy shows it not too bad. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YDprb_c-HEs.html
If you notice the notch design on the front hook, removal of the front wishbone nut is not necessary. Drop, remove rear hookups, slide deck forward a bit to slip wishbone out.
Sorry about that. The sway bar just comes out with removal of cotter pin that I pointed to, and then once the deck is out of the way you can slide the bar out of the hole that it seats in. I also talk about it at 7:51 of the vid. This guy shows the install a bit better at about 10:40 of this vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YDprb_c-HEs.html
You did a good job going back to the sway bar or what ever is called, it was exactly what I needed to figure out how install the deck back after I removed the snow plow. I wish I took a video when I took it off before the winter as you advised 😉, and of course you can't do it without a good cigar 😊👍!
Sorry, I don't have this machine anymore so I can't go check. I have moved to a BX-2380. From my recollection, I only had up or down on the settings, but you can hold it at any height. I would say its prob not the best for spreading triple mix.
I have the same mower as well…just cracked the deck (support piece under the chute)…lifetime warranty so I’ll be bringing in the deck to a dealer swap everything out to the new deck…never pulled the deck off before so this video was perfect…looks easy enough
