@@thechoosentwice1312 They’re using first nation cultural uniforms without their permission. First’s nations are even protesting against the school who also have a ´indian’ guy as a mascot and a school music that goes: « Indian, scalp them. »
@@lauloski7929 Now, the uniform that the Indianettes are wearing has nothing to do with native indians. Those colours and those exact uniforms are not related to indians, they are not made by indians and they are not meant to be cultural indian wear, so the indianettes do not need permission from native indians. The mascot that they have is a native indian, the person is dressing up in a representation of native indians. The song is very specific, it is known as their fight song because they are a drill team for a particular school and this school has a particular football team. This is their fight song: Always be faithful to purple and white/ Cheer on with spirit, our team will fight/ Here come the Indians, Down the trail of victory/ winning our conquest for P-N-G !/ I-N-D-I-A-N-S! Scalp 'em, Indians, scalp 'em! I-N-D-I-A-N-S! Scalp 'em, Indians, scalp 'em! You see, Their football team is known as the PNG indians, so, "Scalp 'em Indians'', is said to imply that they will destroy the other football team, that is why it is said.
@@thechoosentwice1312 The fact that you don’t see what’s wrong with this just shows your white privilege. They DO use first nation uniforms, name, song, etc. They literally stole first nations lands, killed them, raped kids and now they’re fetishizing their culture 😂. First nation people DID ask the school to stop using their cultural stuff.
So my band is doing a show this year called into that good night and we also have trees and panels in the front.... oops haha. Our show is more dark and creepy though haha. I’m from a band called Walton High School from Marietta georgia btw lol

I've watched this show too many times to count. I can never get enough of it! It is so simple and yet has a beauty that is pure and vibrant and brings me to the edge of tears every time I watch. The soloists are impeccable, the brass features blow me away, that ballad it beyond words, and the finale is the most inspiring segment of any marching band show I have ever seen. I am proud to call myself a Keller alum, and even though I graduated several years before this and never participated in the band, it brings back so many wonderful memories of growing up in K-Town. I am grateful for the work that each student put into this show so that it could touch lives like it has touched mine. Good luck to the band in the coming years!
No connection to this band, nor Texas HS bands, but look for a lot of the shows on here. I just love this show. You should all be proud of this show and your commitment to excellence. Keep it up !!!!!
I was there and can confirm that this was a spectacular performance! I'm so proud of the Keller band and all the hard work they put into their show this year. Good luck at state, everyone!
I am a boa fan and love the big bands. like ba and Avon. witch I think did a good job. but I'm going for broken arrow all the way. here in Savannah ga we have 10 high schools and 800 in population at each school. the bands are not impressive and the uniforms look old.. how can I convence the band directed at my high school to see things like boa? in the color guard its not all flags sabers or rifles. there are flags but we have a danceline also a baton twirling squod and all the of there uniforms are really risky looking and I'm kinda scard for them.
Kerry: "these dicks lol" Bloss: "right there with you man, at least i have a salary tho" Colorguard: "lowkey you should prolly calm down cause were like right in front of you"
+butter cup yeah i thought their show last year was alright, nothing that blew my mind though. the show just seemed like it costed a looooot of money which may have been why the rekt boa
