I love coffee so much! I've been drinking it since i was probably 2 years old because my dad also loves coffee so I grew up drinking it XD. And yeah the map can be so annoying at times so I completely understand. The pallets and stuff can be so survivor sided at times :,(
What I would change about her is remove her haste, remove the ability to crouch walk through her drones (stopping is still fine but being able to move is dumb), make it so if she recalls a hacked drone it goes on cd, but if she recalls a non hacked drone it’s fine. Idk though. No matter what you do people will complain because they are stuck in the past.
These are some good ideas! Especially recalling hacked drones giving for a CD! I think the crouching to avoid getting scanned is kinda necessary to give some counter play to her though. Everyone will still complain sadly if we ever do change her 😞🥺
i love impossible skill check skull merchant with the smaller skill check and the no skill check warning addon mixed with huntress lullaby and people cant even finish a gen sometimes because they cant hit a skill check 😂
At the very least, I’d be okay with survivors losing a lock on stack whenever they disable a drone, and maybe in exchange she can see the lock on stacks in order to still be able to manage them now that survivors can chose to go get rid of them. Something like that would give survivor players more agency and give skull merchant more information about the match.

glad to find another SM main, so few to learn from, but i cant help but be disappointed to see this playstyle. it feeds into the bad reputation she has instead of trying to make it better, even if by a little bit. otherwise, gl on future games and your channel

Honestly bhvr should increase the gen time to 120 secs because while I was practicing doing hug tech with wesker in custom matches and i put the bots to only no mither, gens were flying fast and im like you gotta be kidding me 😳 so since they nerfing gen regression perks then they should increase the gen time to 120 secs, makes it fair, i know I would be okay with it (idk if yall would like that idea)
3% haste is actually quite a lot because what actually matters in dbd is that speed difference between survivor and killer which is just 0.6 m/s (for skull merchant). That speed increase turns her from a 4.6 m/s to a 4.74 m/s killer. The change to her overall speed might be just 3%, but the change to the survivor-killer speed difference is actually 23%
In my opinion her number one issue is her one dimensional chase. Perhaps something that could be experimented with is disabling stealth drones when the skull merchant is within their radius, and then adding a new drone state a drone is put in upon being placed that lasts 0.5 seconds which can be used to laser tag the survivor and turn the drone active, denying the loop. This would retain skull merchants ability to deny loops by placing drones but it would require them to actually aim the ability or else they would need to sit through a cool down before attempting again. As for lock on being removable, i don't think its great idea. Skull merchant was always supposed to be a trap based stalk killer, lock on decay was a thing back when OG skull merchant existed and the result was getting almost no value out of it as survivor had ample time to exit the radius unless they were being held at a loop. In my opinion if it was to be added, it should be added in a similar way to how ghost faces stalk works, in that if skull merchant injures or downs a survivor, all lock on stacks should be removed. This change would combine well with an additional change to the previously mentioned "windup" state of placed drones, perhaps their range could be increased and they could be allowed to scan stationary survivors. That way her stalk aspect of her kit could be utilized more reliable via laser tagging, without it getting hard countered by standing still and taking the m1.
It looked like the time spent setting up in the morning gave them the time to plow through. The first chase wasn't until 1:30 and they'd worked efficiently as a team up to that point. I can see how they got the 4 gens done quickly, but you made a great comeback and - at the end of the day - they could not finish the job and escape. As someone who currently plays Trapper, the time spent setting up is worth losing a couple of gens early.
Exactly I just set up my traps around a 3 gen and the person(s) hooked and it's an easy win ngl they don't know what to do,it's either get trapped tryin to save people or get trapped in the area while ur skulkin around lmao
The biggest issue with her is the same Onryo has. It doesn't matter how many changes they make, part of the DBD community will always hate her immediately because they don't really learn to go against her and will immediately throw matches/DC. If she was bad once, she'll be bad forever. The other thing is people just don't like trapping enemies. They want to not have to leave a godloop. She is no different from a trapper or a hag setting down a trap in one side of the pallet or a window in that regard.
It's common situation. They have communication, so 1 in chase, 3 on gens. BUT when 1 on hook, 1 in chase, 1 - runs to unhook and the same speed of doing gens! WTF?!
Yeah it's honestly crazy! They had no toolboxes or gen perks so I don't understand how it happened. Did they have a gen at 99 and then popped 2 gens at the same time?
I don't use corrupt. With SWF don't work. It's stealth or doing another gens. Maybe it's useful on 2-floor maps where you spend more than minute to reach some gens. But in Unknown_map I decide not to protect gen in main building.
