My youngest son flies Latitudes for a living. My hats off to the auto pilot, I wish I could get that caliber auto pilot in an RV-10. Oh, and hooman in the left seat landed it well.
I changed jobs and no longer fly empty airplanes, so no longer have opportunities to do videos. I do videos with CitationMax occasionally, and active on Instagram. @tallyho560
@tallyho4483 that's awesome glad you are well it sounds like you got a better job! I understand! Glad you are still flying definitely my dream iob I did get my ppl 11 years ago... wish I had gone and gotten everything iv always loved flying
Definitely better! Still flying, honestly I’m the busiest I’ve ever been. Well this is the perfect time to do it! Lots of opportunities out there, probably more than ever.
My SIL was a CFII at PTC there at KTMB. He's now flying charter in C90 and B200 King Airs, mostly out to the Bahamas and back. It's a rough life,😀, but somebody has to do it.
Hey Tallyho. Great video. I was offered a job as captain (single pilot) on the 300 G1000 my last job was FO on the 200 G1000 85 hrs flight safety trained. I’m up for the challenge but do you think this is too much of a jump? 1500 500 multi. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Hey Rob! Thank you! Congrats on the job offer! I believe you should be just fine being you already have 85 hours and you’ve already gone through training at Flight Safety. The 200 and the 350 are very similar, so you shouldn’t have much of an adjustment. I was actually an instructor at Flight Safety Wichita in the 350 program several years ago, so I’ve seen many people make that transition. Just remember going to single pilot from the Crew environment is a hard transition. But you already know the ins and outs of the airplane. It’s the decision making process and the flow and checklist usage that gets most people. It’s going to be new, so follow the profiles and callouts exactly in your Pilot Training Guide. Study those just as much as the Required Knowledge Areas, if not more, and you’ll be fine!
@@tallyho4483 Thanks so much for the fast reply and thanks for the vote of confidence! Flight Safety did make me a better pilot, for sure. I was second guessing myself but I picture myself, someday, as cool and confident as you are in that cockpit. Tailwinds Rob
Thanks for watching! They honestly feel the same . The older planes you could definitely tell a difference between the two, but the new ones are very close in performance.
Just finishing up my CPL with a frozen ATPL and have been looking for some jobs in the charter world probably out in western Canada. These videos get me so hyped up!
