Does Carlene have a RU-vid channel? I am loving watching this video! Two beautifully, sweet women with the cutest accents! I could listen to you both all day. Love Erin Condren. ❤️
Thank you so much for tuning in and your kind words!🩷 Carlene does have an EC RU-vid! I’m editing to put her link in the details of the video!🩷 it is: youtube.com/@erincondrenplanningaustral8825
This is just the best video I've seen on the a-5, I just ordered a spiral a-5 a week ago, thinking maybe this year, I might need 2 planners.. ring binders are so handy
This was a great video, Victoria! I'm not a teacher but was very curious about the teacher planner after hearing so much about it. I'm retired but can definitely see how this could work as a work planner for many people. In the first few minutes of the video you mentioned that you love the far right colored column in the Bold Blooms monthly view. I really love that, too. I'm so glad I got Bold Blooms this year.
Thanks so much for watching!! I love that the layout itself could be used for soo many different things! And yes! That bold blooms has my heart this year!🩷
@@victoriious_plans I didn’t mind the size but I didn’t love that I had to have the perfect angle to get a clean line (at least for me). But …my daughter thinks I’m crazy and loves them 😆
Great video, Victoria! You answered all the questions I had. I am so tempted to try that new vertical layout and I'm definitely getting the sticky notes, organizer, and dual tip markers.
I purchased the 7x9 18 month Evolve Horizontal LifePlanner with a Gold coil, the Evolve washi tape and the Evolve Mini Snap in Bookmarks! I can’t wait to move in, start planning in it, and using that sampler pack!! ❤❤❤❤
@@victoriious_plans the Evolve line is simply stunning! This is my fourth consecutive Erin Condren Colorblends LifePlanner. I started to move in earlier today by putting my name in it and putting holiday stickers in also. I’ll finish later this week until about the middle of May setting it up! I’m glad you got the Evovle washi tape. It is beautiful!
I always wish I had the kind of life that needed a daily duo (teacher here, so I use a TLP for work), but the changes are amazing. I'm back in a classic coiled vertical - back to my roots! Also, I could listen to you talk forever, because of your accent. So soothing :)
lol. Thank you tuning in! My accent is the very reason I don’t record more RU-vid videos🙈 Some people say my voice is annoying😬🫠🥴 Also, yay for going back to your roots! The vertical is something I could never make work for me🙈🤪
I ordered a horizontal at launch to use as a journal for the year since it's my twins' senior year in high school and I want to have a journal of that whole experience. For my actual planner, though, I use a calendar year planner so I have some time to decide which is why I'm so excited for the sampler pack! I'm debating between staying with my hourly or if I want to switch to the daily duo (because I love those changes!). Also, I am in love with the peacock color and I 100% ordered my planner with the snap-in peacock vegan leather cover because I needed it in my life! :) Thanks for the lovely review (even if I am watching it a bit late!).
I would Not carry more than $10 cash in your planner. I would never carry a credit card in your planner. It’s just takes one trip to the Ladies Room and someone could take your CC and you wouldn’t know it for hours.
Just curious…are you going to Go Wild. I’ve been a huge Martha Stewart fan for years. I’m hoping someone records her when she speaks and shows the swag she gives out.
I did go to Go Wild! Sorry I’m delayed in responding! We weren’t allowed to record more than 3 minutes of any session, but she was HILARIOUS! So unapologetically her! I just loved it! There was no swag given out during her speech. I feel like swag has definitely lessened over the years!🩷
I feel horrible. In my haste to get to work I completely forgot to order through your link. I’ll make sure to do that the next time. I don’t generally work on Mondays, so I was off the whole day. Thank you for answering all of my questions and for such a great video. ❤
Thank you so much for tuning in! No need to feel bad! I completely get it! If you could do me a HUGE favor and complete my Google form, that would help me out a ton! forms.gle/FPqFhAGFHEwymwz19
I loved how you shared every detail on that new ring agenda! It looks like a major upgrade form last years...and the color you picked is BEAUTIFUL. Great Job Victoria;)
I think I may need to try an A5 Agenda Daily - just haven't decided on the color yet! I'm leaning toward the peacock right now! Too many accessories to decide on just one!
All the colors are so pretty! They all look so good!! And accessories for the agenda, I would hands down at least get the planny pack and snap in sticky notes!
I totally agree. The covers are so beautiful, we want them in A5 too! But here is my hack I use for now. I buy the A5 coil cover and cut the coils and then use my A5 hole punch and put slits in the holes. Snaps in and out and works perfectly! I also reuse my other previous covers as dashboards in my 7x9 and 8.5x11 planners!
Is there a way to purchase the new A5 inserts without the agenda? I can only seem to find the undated versions by themselves and I really like the new ones.
Great video! You are cute as a button!! Are you from the south? Texas perhaps? :) I am an hourly gal. I am super type A and love to plan specifically by time. But I may have to get the new compact vertical for memory planning. I'm in love with the Evolve AND Bold Blooms. Gorgeous designs!!
So if you had a weekly layout planner(instead of daily) would it hold the whole year comfortably? I know previous years they recommended not putting the entire year in at once. Thanks for answering! Also! Will it fold back on itself (rings and the cover for the coiled version)
Yes! The entire year of a weekly planner will fit on the rings! It CAN fold back on itself, but I don’t like it that way. lol. It’s bulky because it’s so sturdy. It’s nothing like previous years!
New subscriber! Love that dashboard is now on left so I can put in my whole year of monthly tabs but only 2-3 months of pages. The extra notes pages and week at a glance are a nice addition. Just wish they had dated the week at a glance. Also glad they kept Sat/Sun back to back. I use daily planner for work and it’s can take that page out. I sticker up my home weekly planner, but don’t for work so I like the little pops of color added, but yet not overwhelming. And yay no monthly little calendar. 🎉
I'll definitely be getting the Bold Blooms - so pretty. I need help with what to do with the stickers in the sticker book. I bought one last year and never used it. But they are so pretty! Thanks for showing all this. I'll be ordering on Monday.
I will say I don’t generally use all of the stickers in the sticker books. I use the decorative stickers, the flags, and a few of the boxes. I’ll be posting some spreads with these stickers on my IG soon!
(Rewatching your video just for the ring agenda) when I first started using the ring agendas, I got the daily and bought the folio to go with it, in fact bought several. But then I stopped getting them from ec cause of how floppy the folio was. So I started going to the Michael's store and buying a a5 ring agenda and just getting the inserts from ec. So I am excited to try the new folio design from ec. Going to hold off though and see if the canvas layout is an option later in the fall like ec has offered in previous years.
Thanks for the great review! Im definitely most excited about the daily duo! I was going to redate an old one, but with the changes this year, I am going to have to buy this years release.
I'm a fan of the small calendar on the corner of the calendar page in the 7 X 9. It's helpful when I'm planning. I've added the previous month and the next month on my calendar pages before. I don't need them on weekly or daily pages. Just with the main monthly calendar page. I'm not a huge sticker girl, because they make my planner too bulky. I do love them though, and sprinkle them throughout the months. I need a lot of space to write. Plus I add extra pages by gluing notebook pages over the colorful hard monthly pages, so I can have everything I want in one planner. I just can't be doing several planners for all the different things. I also use the backs of the sticker pages to write on. One is a medical page. One is a vacation destinations idea page. One is a page of things to do when I visit my parents in my home state. One is a filters page with sizes I need for things in the house, and for the cars. I use every page in my planner. I also use the notebook to add extra pages so I can add them in where I need them. For example I use one for my monthly budget, that I place at the beginning of each month. The front and back are both for my budget stuff, and I like it to be removable. At the end of the year I take all of the budget pages out, and put them in a folder in my file cabinet. If I need to reference a bill or something paid I can check for confirmation and reference numbers on those budget pages. I have been doing the same budget pages for over 25 years. I made my own back in the day, as well as my own life planner in a small binder. Back then planners in the stores were just for acedemic and office type. They didn't meet my needs at all. I still have my homemade planners. The style I used then, is still the way I plan now. I was over the moon when someone finally created a "plain" life planner that worked for running a home, and our lives outside of school and an office. I even had a small zipper pouch, and small business card holder pages. I scavanged accessory inserts from existing planners in the store, or bought the extra stuff they sold for them back then. It also has a small Victorian cloth floral zipper cover that I scavanged from a makeup thing. You can't even tell that it wasn't made for how I was using it. I would still use that style now, but I prefer the larger 7 X 9. It's easier to write in. When people said the digital world would do away with paper calendars and planners I said, "it won't ever do that for me." Loved the video, and bold blooms is definitely the design I will be getting. ❤
@@victoriious_plans what is it they say, “necessity is the mother of invention.” I’m very thankful someone finally created a planner that suits me. With being able to buy the extra note pages I probably won’t have to add so much on my own. I’m very excited for next years planner. I’ll use your affiliate link.
You do such a great job explaining everything. Even the small details. Thank you. I’m bummed that the zipper pouch isn’t in the coil planner. I’m still using an old one from years ago. It’s one of my favorite accessories. I love the washi tape. Especially the wide role of washi.
Thank you so much! 💜 I’m also bummed that clear zipper pouch doesn’t come with coiled planners! I have a couple I still use from years ago! Don’t worry I put a bug in ECs ear that we want it back! I’m also going to include it in my survey later this year!
