Hello, here you will find a combination of standalone missions/ gameplay and silent playthroughts. The games I usually post videos of here are Ghost Recon 1 + Expansions, The Sum of All Fears, Space Hulk 2013, Space Hulk Vengeance of the Blood Angel, and Dark Souls, along with other series I haven't mentioned.
I stream Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies with Rick Dot on his channel, I'm player 2 and usually play as Nikolai.
Plan on doing other series down the road and possibly collaborations.

It's fair to use fogless in Island Thunder expansion since the AI is even more bonkers in this one.. i guess all dat coke and dizzy herbs does that to you.. as u roam around those eh ahm.. natural herbs 🌿 😶
@@HereticHarry actually their ability to shoot through fog and accuracy is ridiculous in Expansions and in island thunder its even more. it's kinda unfair that u hv full gear soldiers wearing armor.. gets 1 tapped while the cokeheads in IT wearing a T shirt take 3-4 rifle bullets to die. and most of time u can't spot them due to Fog. that has been a problem with GR1.. only way to compensate for that is to have a sensor ability in each ghost i.e when the enemy indicator turns red.. our map shows location of the that enemy.. 40 metre is the range in default game.. which is fair.. lose the yellow indicators. this will make the game mich more interesting and fun to play. u can even deploy more sensors in field when u don't wanna risk a Ghost being there or u wanna keep tabs on a location of map etc. it's just a thought.
I believe that's only on the PC version. They probably got rid of the blood so the game would have a T rating instead of an M. Oddly enough Rainbow Six Rogue Spear had blood and the gameplay/ realism was more or less the same though it was T. ESRB is oddly inconsistent about that kind of stuff.
I still can’t believe that you’re keeping the ghost recon OG game alive. Ghost recon jungle storm was one of my favorites of all time! I appreciate your video uploads !
Thanks man, had you never said anything back when I started this channel back up after the old one was gone, I may of well not continued. You can expect Jungle Storm sometime after I finish Island Thunder. ;)
@@HereticHarry sweet! Will be waiting and wow that crazy to think about. I’m glad I did say something cause this game is literally my childhood game and it was always hard finding “good” RU-vid gameplays on Ghost recon but you have absolutely done a great job with the quality and the gameplay of these videos !
Notes: this from playing on actual Playstation (no emulation) and the default maximum dificulty that is set when game starts Some of the stuff can obviously flow from the fact that I haven't understood some of the game's mechanisms The good Fine narrator Very nice intro Very nice animations of Genestealers attacks Mostly excellent sprite work (especially genestealers and terminators, less so Magus, Patriarch, Hybrid) The effect of blood splatter on the walls Good, what little there is, music Solid samples of terminators' rants during missions Solid animations of close combat weapons swing The bad -Absurd differences in the level of difficulty of the missions. (both campaign and historical) From exteremly hard to very, very easy. Hard to find any roughly linear order or thoughtful design to it. -Large maps that lack character, empty and often seeming to possess terrain/chambers where there is never any reason to go to -Genestealers are disproportionally (?) much more dangerous than any other enemy -The barrage of endlessly repeated communications from commandos becomes weary very fast -Endless and weary close combat encounters Hard to come up with any rules as to how to win these -Game slowing down, when there is a large litter of killed genestealers remains (PS only?) -Game can't decide whether it should be more about fast rts managment of team or de facto micromanagment of every single terminator -It's not always clear whether the shooting you do is actually hitting enemy -Shooting at diagonals and rotating with terminators is very clumsy (perhaps understandable given the hulks themselves, unpleasant and tiresome nonetheless) -No possibilty of saving the results of Historic Missions (PS only?) -Simplifications of sprites of other angels, all have only SBolter and PowerGlove, their actual equipment notwithstanding (PS only?) -Hard to see any usefullness or advantage of hulks equiped with anything other than Sbolter and Power Glove: [Heavy Flamer - extremely easy to be killed, flames wear off quickly and are not even surefire barrier when are on [Assault Cannon - sligthly better than SBolter, doesn't differs graphically when used (different shooting sound only) [Grenade Launcher - haven't been able to find any strategic, adventagous use yet [Power Sword - is it really better than Power Glove in close combat? Hard to detect [Lightening Claws - is it really better than Power Glove in close combat? Hard to detect [THammer, SShield - haven't been really able to use those really -I completely don't understand how the system of experience gaining, assigning terminators to missions, getting replacements is working in the campaign
Sprites of the different weapons like thunder hammer or the assault canon will show on the 3DO and PC version of Space Hulk, just not the PS1 and Sega versions. The assault canon doesn't jam and has a higher chance of killing genestealers compared to the stormbolter, however ammo is limited, you can also self destruct this weapon. The Grenade launcher acts as a secondary weapon that also acts as a power glove. You can fire grenades and it's capable of killing large amounts of enemies, but you can also kill yourself if the blast is too close. Power sword and lightning claws seem to improve your chances in close combat against genestealers, however I think the thunder hammer and shield is probably the best for surviving, and makes for a decent rear guard setup. Though in general it's best to avoid close combat as much as possible.
well since the ai teammates are sitting ducks most of the time and enemy ai literal aimbot terminators its only fair that we increase our vision... let us see the enemy b4 the enemy sees us and the one who sees the other first wins the Battle. -Sun Tzu probably 😶 jokes aside.. fogless does increase fun factor of the game tho at times it can feel a bit cheap but still game is fully deadly.. especially Island thunder.. that game is downright unfair don't know wut devs were thinkin.. if u hv 5 guys Co op who know what they doin.. GR becomes a heavenly experience. still an og masterpiece nonetheless.
The AI teammates can be pretty competent at times. They've saved my butt on a few occasions. Other times they do get themselves killed more often than I like. I've had a few times where I've fired at enemies from well beyond where they'd see me past the OG fog and they've landed a few shots on me.
@@HereticHarry yeah when the ai teammates work they are as deadly as the enemies taking out bunch of enemies quickly but its hit or miss with the latter being more often.. well at the end of the day nothing beats a human team mate.. i think they can make an ai that works but why they don't i dunno.. may be too much cpu power would be required? that would make console versions problematic? its 2024 and there is still no game that has ai which makes us go.. wow the last i know is FEAR 2005 had great enemiy ai. and in Max Payne 3 AI is also pretty good but its a pretty linear game... still AI feels natural at time in behaviour.
Sort of. Ocelot Desert reuses a lot of assets from this map and Desert Siege in general. Lot of Jungle Storm is built off the groundwork from the original campaign, DS and Island Thunder.
