Is anyone else that watched this still having trouble? I tried contacting the company and they do not respond. I can not get past entering the password. Admin does not work. If there is anybody out there that can help me, please let me know! Thanks, Dar
The original filter looks more compact and I would assume its the engine air filter. And thanks for the vid. I just had my '16 done six days ago, and I think it is not there. I feel like a m0r0n not being able to do it my self. I paid through my nose ...... Should wipe the excess dust off or vacuum it off the engine too.
My boi, you have to put the wiper blade in service mode so that you don’t hit the hood. The have to engage and stay straight up during the process In my 2023, while the car is off, hit the start button once then off then off again then push and hold the button on the wiper blade colon for 3 sec You can do the Hokey Pokey too when you do it right. Dealers charge $200 to do for you. This ain’t Chevy. It’s a Benz son!
By far the best presentation. Having 2 mini wifi cameras installed personally 10 yrs ago, i felt like butthead with all new ways to reinstall it using zmodo or meshare app. Actually only with zmodo is possible and the excellent hint that you gave with zlink . Otherwise its a lot of confussion and the bloody quick access manual did not mention that. Meshare upgraded app guides you through QR code which i could not make it work (lost 5-6 hrs). smart installation is also not possible and that's how you end up like butthead. Thanks a lot for the help. Greeting from Greece
Many blessings to you. And might I add, what a wonderful surprise that this Mercedes FOB may be the easiest of all the FOBs I've ever had to replace a battery for.
It is very unfortunate to see a manufacturer making servicing a car so difficult. Stupid stupid design. What a shame. The dealers charge ridiculous prices to do a simple thing as replacing filters. Next time i will go with toyota or honda.
Completely concur. I just helped a friend with this process and was stunned at the air box's overly complicated design. My belief is that Mercedes has plenty of engineering prowess such that the design seems to be intentionally obfuscated and overly complicated to dissuade owners from performing what should be an 'easy' maintenance task themselves. Talk about bad-faith German Engineering!
