Just saw your video in Aug 2024, i first found Zipolite Jan 2024 then back in June and now again Oct 31 2024, its one of the most magical Mexican towns I’ve ever been to after 41 trips to mexico in my life. The town has a magnetic charm and the people who are there made it very memorable. I sure hope it can retain this vibe for ever People come world wide to stay in Zipolite and dont leave for months . Got to ask if you got back since 2018?
Hi there thanks for this video. Very beautiful island ! As two French women disappeared there 2 months ago do u think is it possible that they fell ? because I looked at many pictures on google and I don't have the impression that we can fall from a height… moreover, after numerous searches, no trace of the two women... except the vegetation is not dense... maybe you know a dense place?
We're going to Tinos in 3 weeks and I cannot wait! First time to Greece. Can you please tell me the name of the restaurant you were tipsy at with the fried artichokes and yummy parsley dip and bread? It looks amazing! Thank you so much!
Hi. Just a little correction from an Italian and a Catholic: St. Peter is not a cathedral, but a basilica. A cathedral is the church where there is the "cathedra", the chair/seat of the bishop of the diocese (the portion of territory administered by a bishop), a basilica is a big church, often very ancient and usually a place of pilgrimage because it was built on the tomb of a great saint or the saint is buried in the church. St. Peter is not a cathedral because, even if it keeps the "cathedra Petri" (actually a medieval chair), it is not the seat of the bishop of the Diocese of Rome: that is the church of San Giovanni in Laterano, and when the Pope acts as bishop of Rome (and not the chief of the Catholic Church), he usually hold celebrations in that church. So the real cathedral of Rome is San Giovanni in Laterano, while Saint Peter is a basilica (practically it is THE basilica, the one all the other basilicas took from) because it was built where Saint Peter's tomb is and it was a destination of pilgrimage since the beginnings of the Christianity. Some cathedrals can be basilicas too: San Giovanni in Laterano is also one of the four major basilicas of Rome (the others being obviously Saint Peter, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Paolo fuori le Mura). There is another word that indicates a big church, and it is "duomo": it usually is the main church of a city, the one dedicated to the saint patron of the city, especially if it is a big church, but if the city is not the seat of the bishop, the duomo is not a cathedral. In Rome there isn't a duomo (maybe because there are already a lot of basilicas?) And then there is Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence that is the cathedral (seat of the bishop of the diocese of Florence) and the Duomo (the main church of Florence) and also a basilica (minor basilica: only the four of Rome are major basilicas, because they were the first in the history of Church).
Thank you very much for the very interesting and detailed information. Will definitely take note of this. And thank you for watching. Have a great day!
A note worth mentioning. "Ahuehuete" comes from the Nahuatl language, not from Zapotec. Although opinions vary, It's said it means something like "the old one by the river".
@@TheWayWeSawIt Hi there thank you for replying Love your videos especially with the Greek islands I am Greek Cypriot originally living in UK I know you are from germany and Finland but if I am right you live in Switzerland? Quero expressar meus caros agradecimentos a Deus. Quero pedir para que o seculo XX seja diferente do século XXI e o seculo XXXIII seja o seculo da luz.
So glad you popped up when I searched via Giulia! Beautiful commentary and film clarity of this gorgeous district! Thank you! My daughter and I (74/ 42 respectively) are planning our Nov/trip.
Thank you for making this video. My family are thinking of travelling to Tinos this September, and your helpful hints and comments were very much appreciated. Best wishes from New Zealand.
Okay another question. Did yall make it the Valley of Temples in Agrigento? Looking into possibly riding the train from Palermo to Arigento. Is this feasible?
Very hard to say, probably Anafi for the remoteness and calm. Or then Folegandros for its elegance. Or then Tinos for its food… As you can see, they are all very unique, so it depends what you want. Thank you for watching
@@TheWayWeSawIt interesting! I was going to ask if you would choose Sifnos over Tinos as that's supposed to be good for food too. Would you compare sifnos to tinos? Already dreaming and trying to plan my next holiday :D
Hi guys, haven't heard from you in a while! Glad to know you'r still making videos. Last summer I went with my husband to Paxos. I always love your videos. They remind me of the summer and I have considered spending the summer on islands which you featured. :)
Hello, we are back, at least for a while. Paxos is still on our list, there are so many beautiful spots in Greece that need to be discovered. Thank you for watching.
I love to see you soooo much ❤ never enough of beautiful Greek islands. 🏝☀️you may check my mykonos uploads from last year. 👋💗🌸this summer i'm going to sardinia for a little change. 🙂🙂🙂🏝 i enjoy yoour videos so much, thank you. 🏝☀️👋
Thank you very much, we do never get tired of Greece either. Sardinia must be beautiful, hope you enjoy it. Thank you for watching and safe travels always!
Great video in Andros, I visited this beautiful, peaceful island almost 20 years ago, would like to go back again! May you continue your trips and always have the best of time!
Thank you. We were there in July 2012, so indeed, not a very recent one. March maybe a bit cold but with luck, the weather should be nice although the water is certainly cold.
