It just makes me wonder why the US Army does not use the V-22. Especially since the Army was one of the Osprey's leading contributors when the aircraft was first being designed. It can do everything that a CH-47 Chinook can do, but better. Besides carrying heavy loads, the V-22 can fly faster and farther to deploy troops and supplies.
