How do you get the barrel out of this triple Lockwood g28e16 I have removed all the screws the barrel will not slide out. I have disengaged too and bottom latches, What is holding the barrel in ??
Thanks for the review. Appreciate. It's horrible that they milk the locksmiths instead of assisting us to run profitable businesses. Unfortunately the industry is flooded, machines can be bought online and anyone can do programming. In South Africa it's not profitable any longer. Some guys literally work for pennies just to get work. It's not sustainable with cost of machines, tokens, updates/licences & the amount of stock needed.
I've seen this in Sydney and Melbourne & now it's happening in Brisbane, the problem is when you have spent $80K investment, what do you do? My business is not just car keys because I'm a Locksmith by trade so I'm not going to stop & all I can do is run this into the ground by doing cheaper and cheaper car keys. My Government classifies Immo's as non security device in Queensland, which means making a car key is not regulated which mean every Tom, Dick & Harry is jumping on board and doing cheap car keys, I'm just waiting until car get stolen via OBD & then the Government might wake up. Beside if car's don't get stolen then I'm not making keys when they get recovered.
Hi, I’m trying to install a remote key system on my fore focus 2004. I bought the remote key system online. I found the central locking (I think) behind the glow box(1s7t-15k600-be). I’m not sure where I can tap in and connect the system. Do you know? Can you help me? Thanks
Please tell me this isn't the case to replace a small plastic part? I just watched another vid that said to just remove the glovebox and side panel from the front of the passenger side centre console.
Same issue with my xr6 ba 03. Had the steering wheel column replaced with the barrel. Now my car wont start ubtil i turn it off and on like 5-10times. And hand flashes

Hi. Great video! Do you know what happens if I choose all keys lost, but I already have 1 working key? Can I register it back once deleted, or does it only work with blank ones? I want to register a brand new one, but I'd like to delete the other factory one (I lost it). Not that it matters a lot, but a nice to have:) If not possible, I would then add it as a third one and call it a day.
Their gun safes are meant as safe storage space where you can find your guns again. Ours are tiny bank vaults, but any big angle grind will still open them up in no time. Just to apace and please our stupid politicians.
Guys this issue accrues when you got a half kilo of keys and junk hanging off your ignition key wearing the mechanism out. This weight can break the return stop tab allowing the key to return to the off position if your car just shuts down on its own but starts again this may be the cause.
I got a new ignition barrel fitted in my 2002 Ford Falcon BA back in 2002, cost me $400 + labour.. as of today I can feel that the ignition barrel is "collapsing" again, it's not going into Position 1, and it's getting very sticky. Can I ask what your opinion is on this? I don't want to do this every 3 years, the car isn't worth the money!
