I'm thinking of still doing the prop firm challenge. And I'll just post it on videos for every trade I make for that day. So everything I do will be transparent - I'm not going to use any bots, and I won't use anything other than typical trading knowledge. It's also a great way to start a channel with some interesting content, even though it's going to be slow growing in the beginning. I'm sure there's a lot of people that are looking for prop firm information. And if they deny my account, then I'll just post the content showing how these [trading platforms/companies] are cheating you, and they're going to be called out on it. I may be able to get my money back just from the revenues on RU-vid and other sources. If anything else, it could make a good start for a new channel.

Dude! When are you going to learn? Come to The Concept Trading. You trade with real money so they want you to make profit, so EVERYTHING is allowed: EA's, martingale, copytrading, weekend holding, even weekend trading (crypto), ... Payouts are in 24h, no questions asked. This is how a real propfirm should be! Stay away from the ponzi propfirms!

Prop firms are scammy. Just avoid them at all costs.

There's no manipulation here. This is your fault for not understanding how FTMO WORKS. I have plenty of colleagues who regularly get paid out in excess of $10/12k per month. If you're breaking the FTMO rules they will terminate your account. Otherwise they are the best Prop Firm out there.

It baffles me that this is even a question. It's no wonder retail traders often get a bad reputation. Try taking an EA that you bought off a marketplace to a professional institution-they'll likely give you the same response. This has nothing to do with whether you're making money or not; it's clearly stated in their terms of service. Yet, you’re quick to blame everyone but yourself. FTMO banned you for a reason-because you hedged the account to "guarantee" passing. You accuse FTMO of being shady, but in reality, it’s your actions that are questionable. Prop firms, whether retail or institutional, don't accept marketplace-bought EAs because they're looking for unique traders who can bring diversification and skill to their portfolio.

Reason why they don't allow that is because they're not funding you with real funds. It's losers who fail challenges that pay for the profitable traders.

Thanks Petko. Once again, all of them are "Scam firms". Nothing like a prop firm, these are ponzi scheme which gain profits from the traderds losing the challenges. They don't want anyone to succeed, but to fail. The more people fails more money they make.

Looks like the funded account was Grid Machine over EURUSD only. The account that lost was over GBPUSD? Is there a difference in the pairs performance? Is it possible to trade GM over GBPUSD for a funded account and not blow it up? What settings do you use and when do you withdraw? If I backtest GM with the default settings over GBPUSD at 1:500 leverage, it seems to blow more often than not.
