I think one of my most favorite Right-Angle light, I did a full review on it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W0K8D6TG1VI.html I also did an updated review on the E7: (I like it more after the long tube) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XUEP1NZNBQY.html Thanks for watching!
All those 🔦 are 🗑️. The Emisar D2 is superior to all those. It is a 14500 dual-emitter 🔦, which can be customized with any emitter of your choice from a long list. I have 2: one has a Nichia 519A (3500K) & SST-20 660nm Deep Red and the other one has a Nichia 519A (3500K) & UV 365nm + ZWB2 filter. A 14500 🔋 lasts about 60 mins at a sustained 300 lm with the highest capacity 14500 🔋 available (Vapcell F12 1250mAh). A 14500 🔦 should not go above 400 lm. It is worthless going for more on such a low-capacity 🔋. 18650 🔦 are the best EDC size. My 18650 Skilhunt H200 (3000K) can run for 185 mins at a sustained 300 lm. It can do 520 lm for 5 mins and then drops to 300 lm for 175 mins. It can do 1,000 lm for 1 min and then drops to 300 lm for 180 mins. My 18650 Zebra Light SC600Fc Mk IV Plus (4000K) can run for 195 mins at a sustained 283 lm. It can do 557 lm, and the highest output is 1,816 lm which I disabled. I do not need or want 1,816 lm. That amount of output just drains the 🪫 too quickly and puts too much strain on the LED shortening its life. If anyone says 300 lm is not enough, they must be blind or have serious issues with their 👁️👁️. COME AT ME!
Thanks for the kind words! Really appreaciate it. I'm trying out the NEW flats, the ones with replaceable batteries. Pls turn on your bell notification 😁
Thanks for doing this comparison. I have the ti antman and I was pretty sure they were the same thing but like the l2 form factor a little better. Seems a bit more pocketable without the super aggressive knurling. Also like the metal button. Tempted to get one as I usually like carrying some kind of pocket thrower for dark alleys around the city. I especially like the white one. Currently carrying a Cloud Defensive MCH HC full size. It's a little larger but a good compromise between LEP and regular light while being a little more usable. Great little thrower. Have it set to 100%/10%, no memory. Was previously carrying the ti antman in it's place. Both still really shine outdoors but the CD is still useful inside on the lower setting. Generally too intense on high @ ~80kcd. I also carry a smaller light or two for more up close and low light tasks.
Agreed with the aggressive knurlings on the Antman. Metal button does look better. Unfortunately I think the white one is oos. I don't have any CD (yet), but I have a few other "budget" led throwers. While LEP is def more fun, LED throwers are prolly more practical with some spills. Thanks for watching. I still have quite a lineup in queue, which you might be interested in (:
@@urbandadcarry yea the tactical lights generally aren't too uncommon among the edc crowd but I had an itch for a high quality, ideally USA made "tactical" light. Decent deals can be found and they really aren't too expensive when compared to other USA made options. The full size I got even has a pretty nice CCT.. the HC are supposed to be on the cooler side and my micro one is, but I guess I lucked out by ending up with ~4500k in my full size one. But back to the antman/l2.. I also just like the metal button for longevity sake. I have a couple older lights with rubber boots that have worn down quite a bit. Yea, the white was oos las time I checked. I like other options too but seeing as its the same thing as the antman, it's a tough buy. Slightly More expensive too. IIRC I paid about 100 for the antman during the summer sale a few years ago. Have other LEPs around too. Overall most practical is probably the skylumen mini. From what I can tell, these are pretty rare with only one or two small batches out there. Got mine secondhand. Then I also have a ti thor2v1 that I bought during a closeout sale after the v2 came out. This one really packs the LEP wow factor but the big head makes it suck to carry around.
I gotta check out them Clouds one of these days.. Yep, def. no torn out switch! I was intrigued by the Thor mini too, but prefer tail switch over side switch. Other worth mentioning: Thor V, dig the design but kinda pricey. "Budget" option: Astrolux WP4 / Mateminco FW2 Tactical options: Weltool W3 & JetBeam RRT-M2S seem interesting btw, are you on Instagram?
@@urbandadcarry I checked out the mini but it just seems like a less ideal version of the antman.. No clip, side switch, fatter in the pocket, same output, and I've heard a kind of shitty UI. The Fenix LEPs seem pretty solid.. I forget the models off the top of my head but the older 1200m one seems pretty similar to the Skylumen. Just a straight foward, 3 level 1200m 21700 light. 1200m definitely has the WOW factor while having a quick enough spread to be somewhat useful. I'd recommend looking for a ~1800m+ of you really want that crazy tight beam though. Thor2 throws like that but honestly I haven't found much use for it other than some occasional fun on the balcony lol. The clouds definitely grew on me since I first came across a while back them but I'm glad I picked up a couple. They feel more serious and more like a tool than pretty much anything else in my collection. You can find good deals on the mis-matched "moonshine" and occasionally blem models. I'd just at least make sure I was getting one of the programmable, or at least dual output models. Nah I'm not really active on IG. Just never been too into it. I'm in a couple of the flashlight FB groups though.
"Occasional fun on the balcony" LOL You must be the "fun" neighbor everyone's talking about 😂 IG is just a personal "playground" for me, to post whatever without being judged ;p
How do you make them short? Do you need a certain tube or just remove the middle? I have a couple short tubes that came with my S2, do you know if those will work?
17:47 which model is this? I have never heard of this company. Tain Aura is the company but which model is this? I tried to find this exact one and I found some from the same company but they weren’t exactly like this one. If I’m correct this is a custom light? Probably too expensive for me. How much is this one? Sorry for so many questions but this one got me excited because I can’t afford it probably.😂
I get it why you're excited, I really do 😅 The company is called Tain, and they have several models. Aura, Aurora, etc. Yes it's definitely a custom light, and I think they're not produced anymore. I'm not even sure how much they cost. What I know is that they're "jewelry" level pricing. I have had a few more 14500 lights, I should probably do an update video sometime.. 😉
Yes! I completely agree. Exchange our the proximity sensor for a green laser, add a coronated bezel for striking/standing and add a strong magnet on the clip so I can mount it places. That's all I ask and it would be a perfect light for me.
@@urbandadcarry ok and what did you use to make it glow once you opened it up by taking the screws out what did you use some type of paint or something…?
Hi, unfortunately the Black SW was a limited edition and out of stock in the official website, you might be able to find on other resellers. thanks for watching.
