Tell you what the Maxim Pro is a small profile and doesn't require any mods or upgrades out of the box. I think I'm with you and if I had to make a choice I would go for the Maxim Pro! Thanks for the support!
Thanks for this video brother. You're 1 of 2 Nerfers remembered that are those of us out here that actually want a peek inside them brand new blasters that we haven't had a chance to pick up yet. I prefer to have a peek inside to know whether or certain mods are possible. Not normal spring and barrel mods.

I LOVE this blaster, it may be a top 5 ever for me. And just plinking around my house, I really like the rev trigger on this and I've had no issue getting used to it
I saw a post from Dart Zone referenced in a video that claimed they set up the internals of the Maxim Pro to enable an easy upgrade to full auto via a Worker Standard full auto mod kit. It would be cool to see a walk through on that mod if it is in fact easy and legit. Love the vids btw! Also cool to see a fellow Ohioan making quality content!!
Mine has a really good tactical feel, which I really enjoy when it comes to rev triggers. The behind the grip rev is taking some getting used to, but I can see myself self modding it to just be a single trigger pull. We will see!
I don't get my maximum until Thursday but I'm assuming that the MK3 or original Nexus Pro sling Mount from out of darts may work on this buffer tube . Also the Spectrum thumb screw which worked for the Thunderbolts, or possibly the MK3 thumb screw I have extras lying around I'll let you know As far as mods go for this the only thing I plan on doing is adding my old MK3 stock to it, and some low-profile fiber optic iron sights. If anybody creates a 3D printed extended mag release that's probably something I would look into getting For Club games most likely I'll be running mine with four coolook imrs with four dummies cells

Do you mean something like a drum that has a Talon mag attachment point at the top? Something similar to the Mythical Drum magazine? If so, I can definitely see Dart Zone putting some R&D into a product like that.
@@backyardfoam a standaard drum, like they exist for long darts, nerf or buzzbee. It mighty not be for ultra competitie nerfers, but I still enjoy them in my nexus pro or thunderbolt for long darts.
Thanks for the shout-out and going in-depth about magazine compatibility. I was hoping to use the Stryker 2.0 for Nerf wars because of the ease of reloading the drum mid game, but it shoots too hard for the 150 FPS cap at the local game. That plus having to have the elbow up while priming makes the drum a less attractive option. The spring is a different size than the Nexus Pro X so the NPX downgrade spring from Dart Zone won't work here.
@@backyardfoam Oops I wrote my above comment before watching the end of your video, where you address the spring sizes. I don't understand the different springs either! I'm an engineer and I immediately assumed they would design around ease of sourcing parts and cross-compatibility between products. Having a different, incompatible spring between each blaster boggles my mind. Especially since the apparent size and function of the NPX and Stryker 2.0 are so similar, they should have the same spring. I spent some time looking at Out of Darts to see if there was a similar sized spring and there is not. This one is longer than every other spring that OOD sells. It's also a smaller diameter than K25 and K26 springs. Whenever Captain Xavier does his "can it take a K25" video on this one the answer is NO.
Most everyone just clips off the top piece that ratchets the slide back, and the O-Rings provided with the plunger tube are necessary to create perfect seal, it's riding loose as he says because he's using the stock o-rings not the provided ones.
Yeah I was able to bump up to a better seal with slightly thicker o rings. I also achieved the same result with some plumbers tape as my plunger tube did not come with any addition o rings. Thabks for the support!
Its easier to put the mag adapter and drum in when you hold the mag release. Since it has a skinny pusher you wont accidentally drop out the adapter because the pusher locks it thru. Unless you pull back the prime to reload but its not needed to

It would require 'a bit' of re-engineering, but if mag-well is messaged to locate the 1/2 dart magazine fully to the rear of the mag-well, there would be room for at least an inch of additional 😊pluger-system, may be more. They're only $30.00 a pop. I'd be willing to sacrifice 2 of them to get one with slong-sleeved plunger- system. I may have to look into that after the 1st of the year.
I appreciate the overhead perspective at the internals of this Blaster. Someone else may have given a build video on this blaster, but video is by far the easiest one follow along and understand.
Yes.! Nerf Science. ! That's how I roll. Make 1 change, then test, make another change, then test. 1 thing at a time, keeping it as basic as possible. My Nerf Longshot was hitting over 120fps with the stock-spring. It took 2-weeks to make a custom sleeper-breech, and approximately 18-22"inches of cust-polished barrel. I used brass(still do.😎) cause it's how I roll.
I found one in Goodwill last week. Had the darts in the magazine and the bolt was stuck all the way forward. I couldn't figure out how to unjam it. I felt bad for the kid that might have gotten this blaster and immediately broken it, and then saw it go into the Goodwill pile. Even for $4 I didn't buy it, it's not worth the space it would take up in my blaster collection.
Yeah that little gap at the front of the stroke seems extra rough even on a brand new blaster. My guess is whatever piece that you're working against finally gave out.
Love the vid got mine today love it and its soo much more powerfull than i thought i told my brother tho shoot me from about 10 feet and there was a red dot a little later
Hey man! Great video! I’m in love with my 2.0. I found it so much easier when you pop the mag adapter in and out, to hold the mag release in while doing so! Goes so much smoother!
Great look at this blaster. This will sound like the weakest complaint ever but I wonder why the mag adapter is off white and not green like the blaster? Green would have looked better.
