I saw Chris Ledoux and Western Underground several times and even partied with them several times after concerts through a concert promoter and bar owner. I can tell you that Chris and every member of the band are what they appear. You won't find better people no matter how hard you look. God bless Chris Ledoux. I've listened to his music from the beginning and I think I own every Piece of music that Chris ever released. Saw him ride one time. There will never be another!
Awesome Fact: He was the first and probably the only cowboy to ever ride and and play a concert at the Houston Astrodome. That just goes to show how awesome he was. RIP, Wild and Wooley Cowboy, Chris Ledoux❤
Chris' music helped me get through so much and it never fails to put a big 'ol Texas grin on my face. He's my favorite singer by miles, I wish I could have seen him in concert but I wasn't even 2 years old when he passed. RIP cowboy
He's still with us Heck, he just took a long ride. Every time I put on a Chris Ledoux song...go to a rodeo....slide my cowboy boots on and Lid, he's right there with me and you. YeeHaw
I can't believe Ned used to be within 2 hours of my house every Summer performing for free and now that will never happen again if I want to see him I'll have to pay I was just too lazy to drive that by myself
I'm so happy I saw Chris LeDoux in concert back in December 1999 when he performed in Las Vegas. I'm just sad he passed away so soon. RIP Chris. Keep riding in heaven.
Could listen to this all day. He is one of my favorites. Saw him at the King county fair when I lived in Washington. I moved to Idaho near Blackfoot and got the opportunity to hear him again at the Eastern Idaho fair. I have almost all of his music. I really miss him. Drove to Cheyenne to see his sculpture.
I was in the Air Force in Altus OK in 1993ish and worked at this little bar that could hold about 800 or so people and we hosted Crhis and his band for a concert. The owner had a knack about getting pretty good artists like Toby Keith, Steve Warnier, Tracy Lawrence and Dean Dillion to name a few. I will never forget that concert and sitting down with Chris and having just a gentlemen's conversation. He was a truly amazing person and will never be forgotten. Thank you for posting this.
Thanku Richard Simmons that u did all this so long ago & now that I am old & putting on the pounds, ur my favorite! It’s helping with my depression too. Hope u r doing well.❤✌️🎉
REST IN PEACE CHRIS LEDOUX AND BE VERY,VERY PROUD OF YOUR SON,SING IT LOUD AND LONG NED, BECAUSE YOU SOUND ALMOST JUST LIKE HIM. IF I'M NOT LOOKING AT YOUR PICTURE WHENEVER I LISTEN TO ONE OF YOUR TAPES I CLOSE MY EYES AND I SWEAR YOUR DAD IS STILL SITTING RIGHT THERE BESIDE ME SINGING WHATEVER SONG IT IS I'M HEARING. PLEASE DON'T EVER BE OFFENDED IF SOMEONE SAYS YOU SOUND LIKE HIM. HE WAS A GREAT MAN. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIM AND YOU. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SONGS!
Funny how the gal who is wearing the red shirt and jeans looks so much like what we wear today. Everyone else makes it obvious that this was the 80s or 90s.🤪
Anytime, Saturday night Chris and band were playing, Best dance's ever, rode same shows, he a bares man,and a world champion. His tapes in the truck, and I miss him, NED carry on his love of life and fork a bronc then write a song, for all of us who miss em,
