I will never forget while this game was live I'm walking back into my living room at the exact moment Rose takes off running and I just stood there a whole 2 mins afterwards by the couch as he did Dragič like that 💪🏼
The greatest season of Bulls basketball in my adult life. I watched all of these games. I witnessed it all. And we all should have been witnesses to one of the most legendary careers in NBA history, but the injury bug stole it from us. Instead, we get turds like LeGroin, whiny Durant and Harden.
I was fortunate enough to have gotten to see the 90s Bulls. But this was definitely the closest we've been since then. This season will always hold a special place in my heart. My wife and I had just met. My dad got really sick and was in the hospital. We didn't know if he was going to make it. My mom, my wife, and I rented a hotel room next to the hospital. We got back to the hotel from a rough day at the hospital, and I just happened to turn on the Bulls for some background noise as we worried and talked about my dad. We hadn't even been following the Bulls. The Bulls were playing the Mavs, and the Bulls came back from a big deficit to send it into OT.. It was amazing to watch. We all got a little distracted, just for a few minutes, but those few minutes were really needed. From that point on, we were back into the Bulls again - watching every game and planning around them. We grew to love them again. That team was special, even if they didn't win a chip.
@@bradleyboyer9979I can only imagine the mental and emotional momentary relief something like that can give a person during a hard time… I worked the 2nd shift during these years and would record the games, put my phone in airplane mode, and avoid hearing the outcomes so I could watch the games at midnight… a truly special season
I remember watching this game live on TV. Milwaukee was beating the bulls ass that whole game until the 4th qtr. I remember even after the game when the teams were shaking hands u can see Booz tell Maggette "that's a bad mf!" Man that D. Rose was the truth
Dude next to Drew Gooden at 2:51 was like "ooooh my god" lmao. I always felt bad for brandon jennings cause rose has been beating him since high school
Just notice how many people in the Milwaukee Bucks Arena have Derrick Rose 🌹 Gear or Chicago Gear that is the impact of Derrick Rose Hall of Famer in my books
