I wonder how Connors must have felt, the ultimate competitor being prevented from competing.

Courier was just a bad matchup for Jimmy, he would have beaten Edberg no doubt in the final but Courier’s power was just too much for Jimmy at his age

Mats is thinking "what shot makes him(Mecir) uncomfartable and the answer is "nothing that you try). Wilander's game was very ill suited against Mecir. But then again, Mats's tennis brain and stamina was ill suited to most players back then. Thanks for uploading!

As a young boy in my teens in India i remember the beautiful game Krishnan played. With a bit more power to his game, he could have been a regular Top 10 player.

I saw Ramesh play at a grass court tournament in Bristol, U.K. in the mid 1980`s . He didn`t have the height or power of many of his contemporaries but he had an amazingly fluid and almost silky game. The other player that I often think of in the same mold is Gabriela Sabatini who moved so gracefully and had a great all-round game
