Thank you for demoing this kit and the snares and cymbals properly. I cant stand when then play a bunch of fast rudiments or start playing a fast drum solo. We want to hear each instrument one hit at a time first. Great job!!

Pure copper is extremely difficult to cast as well as being prone to surface cracking, porosity problems, and to the formation of internal cavities. The casting characteristics of copper can be improved by the addition of small amounts of elements including beryllium, silicon, nickel, tin, zinc, chromium and silver. Adding these however would make the drum shell hellaciously expensive, particularly because of the beryllium.
Meh... I ordered a set to replace some trash that came free with my mapex kit. High hats are great... The ride is insane. The 16" is so so... The 14" is almost unusable for crashes... More bell sounding that crash.
If you don't like it, go eat shit. Obviously they are not going to sound good if they are made of brass and you better go see higher quality cymbals and throw shit at beginner cymbals
Die pst 101 brass Serie Ist das Schlechteste was ich je auf dem becken ständer hatte . Da ist jeder Euro fehl investiert. Und das Ridebecken ist der größte Reinfall gewesen!! Nur nicht kaufen, topfdeckel haben einen besseren Klang. Ich habe meine Cymbals jetzt auf PST 5 MEDIUM umgestellt. Was so ein bisschen bronze ausmacht voll der Hammer, ein unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. 😅😅
I got that drum a week ago and did find a head change to something a bit more dry helped mine have a better sound range. It’s a beast for sure and is very versatile. Kudos for PDP/DW for this gem. Now let’s hope they quickly move on from it so it’s indeed a “limited” production.😎
