SERVICES: My channel offers the following services (contact me for prices): - FREE reviews: Publisher simply provides a copy of their game, which will be played at least twice (depending on complexity), and reviewed as soon as there is time on the agenda. I reserve the right to decline a game if my agenda is full or if there are other reasons not to review the game. - Sponsored reviews: This will still be an objective review, but it will be pushed up the agenda for release. I will give your game priority, and give you feedback on when I expect to be able to post the review. Publisher provides a copy of their game. - Paid previews: General overview plus details on your Kickstarter or where to find it.
Thanks! Yeah I really love my Game Topper. Best purchase for my game room ever. I love that I can put in different mats and keep my drinks off the table.
I don't understand why they don't sell it on Amazon, I wanted to place an order for about 5/10 boxes but I can only buy it from their online store, a missed opportunity and it depends on the language, maybe releasing it in Spanish or German would have more sales :/
Probably because they are a small indie publisher. Selling through Amazon might not be an option. And localizing in different languages requires a minimum amount of copies, which is also a risk. If this ever gets picked up by a larger publisher, or local publishers in different countries that do localizations, then perhaps it could happen.

Cool huh? They have a new Kickstarter going on right now, over $1 million on day 1 already! Classic dungeon crawler: gamefound.com/en/projects/dragori-games/odalin-dungeons-of-doom Thanks for checking out my video Billiam! <3
I thought the same! But man, $1.1 million dollars in 24h!? That's insane! It looks so cool though. Diablo 2 like dungeon crawling I read from the designer. Also: spread payments really helps. And a 5 month refund policy. So the turnaround is pretty fast on this one.
@@BoardgameHeaven The 5 month refund policy is NOT from the end of the campaign. It is from the projected date of July 2025. So if it hasn't shipped by December 2025, you can request a refund.
Dude THANK YOU. Ive just gotten a capture card for my ps5 and had to stop using sound alerts dashboard. Ive been watching videos for like 3 hours trying to find out how to make it so chat could hear it. The audio wouldnt spike in obs but i found your vid and it helped so much. Im sorry for the paragraph. Im just so new to this stuff and i struggle with it so you really saved me here. Thank yoj
I didn't get those, but they come in their own box. I suppose you could store them underneath the walls, there were vaults there that were unused. @1:45:28 otherwise in the 5 slots in the save slots box. (and put the coloured bases somewhere else.)
@16:35 the large enemy cards slide out of their slot despite your best efforts to put your thumb on them and you saying they fit. Why not just say that they don't fit and at lest 1 or 2 cards will slide out and possibly be damaged?
They won't slide out when the next insert is on top @18:42. I use premium sleeves, so they "puff" up. I'm pushing out the air. Besides, a huge box like that is stored flat, not vertically. Too many tokens. I have no issues with cards sliding around.
I bought the insert and sadly the silver knights' swords and Smough's hammer can bent if you put everything as instructed. I think your hammer was bent already (common issue) and that's why you didn't notice.
Strange, I did see that my Smough's hammer was bent down slightly, but there's still room for it, so it should fit. The silver knights are a tight fit, not sure if you can swapping them into another slot?
@@BoardgameHeaven Not really, because the only available slots would be the greatbowman's and the sentinel's, and both are much higher than the swordsman so it wouldn't make sense to swap them. I'm not worried about the swordsmen, becuase I can try bending them with hot water, but Smough is an issue. I'll contact e-Raptor and see what they tell me.
Crazy montage, Raymond.. so many pictures. Really cool. Hope that I will be able to see you this year at SPIEL, and perhaps next year at UKGE - that would be neat :)
Thanks! Hmm. I recall there being a board game not too long ago that sounded a LOT like Omerta, but I forgot the name, sorry... I think it was being crowdfunded.
Maybe look into the game Cabo? Very different theme, and simpler, but also similar baseline gameplay. There are also standard deck card games that are similar to Cabo, which you should be able to look up.
9:21 так сюда и надо было положить карты, маленькие пакеты с наборами тайлов для игроков. С другой стороны такой же "ящик", туда тоже можно положить компоненты. Зачем отрезать, мять и портить ложемент?
I hope I understand correctly ;) I don't like putting components underneath an insert. I would forget about them, and that is not how an insert should work imo. You can use the insert however you like of course, but for me, this is the simplest solution. :) Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for this video!! I was going crazy trying to figure out why my sounds weren't going through to OBS and this is the first and only video that I've found giving a clear explanation of how to fix the issue.
Im hooked line and sinker played my first game last night to learn wow the rule book is amazing.the game content is amazing.i olay a lot of memoir 44 command and colours this is a lot diffrent to any war game ive played before siege has got to be next.bought over 300 map tiles off ebay dirt cheap with extra dice and cards chit sheets etc.
I am not aware of this set currently being available to order, except as seperate items from the Monolith Games webshop. This set was Kickstarted 3 years ago. There is currently a Gamefound campaign for new Conan stuff, but not these boxes.
@Boardgame Heaven 19:14 was something I had been struggling with alot for a while. I had no idea that I had to add a separate audio capture to get the audio to work. Thank you, this was very helpful. I also couldn't help chuckling at the Biertje command as a Dutch person myself
Yeah, unless you already set all your sound commands to use the MixItUp overlay. But it's best to have both audio sources for MIU, just in case. Glad it helped!
IKR? DSO looks so good, and the rules are kind of what I wish the new HQ would be! Just better written overall. Tweaked some rules. I'm going to check it out at UKGE.
My chat been telling me my redeems sounds doesn't show up and your tutorial really saved my hide! Great tutorial <3 Kinda questioning why this vid didn't pop up higher in the youtube search tho :(
Dear viewers. I understand and share your frustration on the many delays this game has suffered, but please don't use my channel as a platform to vent your frustrations. There is Boardgamegeek for that, and perhaps Facebook, or your own social media accounts. I do not have the time to moderate everything people post in the comments of my videos, and things have gotten a little heated here, so I've had to remove some comments. ==Please keep it civil.== Thank you for understanding!
It was/is $54 pre tax for the DISCOUNTED 24 hour version of the "deluxe" version of the game. Which in my opinion is just what the full base game should have been. They were/are asking $16 for the tokens, and $19 for a set of dice. This game was definitely on my list of games to pick up because of the small box style of the game. I have no problem spending hundreds on a game if it warrants that. The components in this game do not warrant the large price tag when compared to other games you could snag for that same dollar amount.
Actually, that's not true. The 24h discounted deluxe version was €35/$37. Now it's €40/$43... Where did you see $54?? The base game is only €20. That *is* the full game, with 12 dice. The tokens are an expansion, which is not needed to play the base game, and you get a bag to carry the game in too. They have a core game option to keep the price low. The early bird Deluxe discount is a tactic many publishers use to get funded quickly. I see nothing wrong with that. Just get the €20 core game, and you'll have a great game. A lot of people *do* have problems spending hundreds of dollars on a game, so they kept the price for the core game low. (I mean, CMON and other companies charge $20 for a pack with 1 single mini and a card, and people buy those... I'd rather have this full game instead of a single mini)
@BoardgameHeaven 37 plus shipping is 54. Which is the same over several editions of the game. The "base" game feels incomplete. And even the base game is $22 with $17 US shipping (same as the deluxe). Calling 3 double sided tokens an expansion let alone an expansion worth $16 is WILD. And almost as much as the base game by itself. You 100% cannot tell me 3 double sided tokens is nearly the same value as the base game itself. And they are tokens. Not even chips. It's a disappointing price point for the value. Is it pretty? Yes. But absolutely not worth what they are asking. Even for early bird.
@@brycebraswell6198 I agree that is much for 6* tokens (of which 1 is double-sided), but if you don't want to spend that much, just get the core game. It's a good game without the tokens. The difference of $21 for the deluxe version gets you not only those 6 tokens, but also 12 fancy dice and a cloth bag. So you wouldn't just add on the $16 token expansion, but you'd upgrade your pledge from core to deluxe. The dice and the bag alone are worth that imo. And you're always gonna pay shipping, no matter what you back. $17 shipping is very normal. Probably the lowest shipping I've seen in a while. It's not fair to say that the game costs that much, because it doesn't. The game and shipping are two separate things. But of course, if the total cost including shipping is too much for you to justify getting the game, then you are free not to back it, that's fair. I too take that into account. Perhaps you'll find it at retail later for less, although this is an indie publisher from Italy, so I wouldn't count on it in overseas. It's entirely up to you to decide if you feel it's worth the cost. I just think $22 is a good price for the base game, and the $43 deluxe may be a bit much, but it's entirely optional. (You could always try messaging Space Otter and ask if the loose token expansion addon can be lowered if they have enough funding.)
