If you run out of electricity and all your screens go out, what will you do if you don't have any other pneumatic instrument; at least an altimeter and a speedometer. Be smart and don't just rely on electronics. What kind of aircraft is this and an aircraft manufacturer that does not think about safety. People smarten up, because it's your life.
That looks great! Was wondering if anything simpler and lighter can replace the d-sub connectors? These things along with the harnesses look quite bulky. But I like the frontal look of the instrument panel overall, it's not heavy or busy for the eyes.
Thank you for this video! Very informative and I cant wait to order the rest of my panel from you! I already have the servos, antennas and pitot/AOA installed :)
I was about to comment a question regarding this. Unless you were familiar with the airport it appeared as if you were making a wrong turn according to ATC instructions
I really appreciate your ability interface with Garmin. I just upgraded my mixed Garmin RV7 panel with all Garmin. It was really challenging and took weeks. Your system makes more sense. Having to hard wire electronics in today's world seems crazy. Especially knowing you will want to upgrade every 10 years or less. Your plug and play system is great! Wish I had used your system.
I have used any of your products personally but love what you guys are doing. I have to ask though if it is that easy to install why does it cost an arm and a leg for labor?
Does the G5 pull altimeter from the AFS PFD or do you have to update both? Can the G5 drive the AFS autopilot if you lose a screen or are you hand flying totally?
Whatever happened to just looking out the canopy and enjoying the vision of flight? I used to drive Airbus planes as a living but loved flying, I mean really flying with as little as possible by way of fancy stuff!
Lynol, single p-mag switch module is also an option. It looks just like the one in the video except with only one CB switch. You would continue to use the keyswitch position for your regular mag.
