The very IDEA of this collaboration of people and places moved me to tears. This is a truly beautiful thing. Cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this. Well done to everyone, especially the cats.
I'm absolutely floored and in awe at the monumental achievement of bringing together 52 musicians from 21 countries for this epic cover. This is one of my very favorite Porcupine Tree pieces, so I'm over the moon they chose to cover "Anesthetize." The sheer scope of coordinating so many moving parts across the globe is mind-bogglingly impressive. I'm completely blown away by the incredible passion and awesome spirit that radiates through each second of this video. You can truly feel the care and thrill of making music alongside one another even across oceans and borders. It's so moving to sense that global musical camaraderie. Great job guys
Just stumbled across this Christmas morning 2023. So good. You made my day with this rendition of a great Porcupine Tree song. Nice dancing too Emily ! Thank you Peace
Good attempt but i didnt feel it, sorry. Some of the vocals did not hit that sweetspot and the drums on Sound of Muzak and Chloroform kindoff pushed that PT feeling furthur away. But as i said, a good attempt. I could not have done it myself.
@@CollabLightIntoEarth Ha! That made me genuinly laugh😂! But you guys definetly didnt butcher anything! These were just some minor things the autist in me couldnt ignore! Thank you for your content!
@@CollabLightIntoEarth absolutely not. I'm just pointing out that nothing is easy in this song, even if it seems that way to someone. Everything"s done admirably by all you guys and that's the truth
I don't know how many times I've watched this. I know I've "liked" it before. I've probably commented before. I don't care. Every time I hear it, I feel compelled to say again, how fantastic it is to see SO MANY young musicians (and pets) participating in making such AMAZING music. Steven Wilson is one of the most gifted artists in my lifetime -- and you all do an AMAZING tribute to his song, and the work of Porcupine Tree! THANKS AGAIN!
Just come across this. I saw Porcupine Tree's first ever gig, 4th December 1993 Nags Head Pub, High Wycombe, England. What you guys have done is incredible and sounds awesome, all of you take a bow and a doff of the hat. Special thanks to Gavyn Leavitt's cat as well. 😸
