iN MY DAY Used to be Anchors away my boy(s) Anchors away Fair well to all these joys we sail at the break of Day (day day) Through our last night ashore DRINK TO THE BONE Until we meet again here's wishing you a happy voyage home. Apparently there are multiple versions. Kinda pisses me off. Should be etched in stone. Try to change the Marine Corps anthem...I dare you
Yea I figured out that weird Jumpcut to the space force song. This guy just ripped the rest of the video from another compilation, and then added the space force song to get some views. Stop stealing that other blokes content, make something original mate.
I can’t wait for someone to make the space force anthem fit in with the rest of the melody more perhaps the official melody will become more extended because it sounds like one continuous song up until the space force
We had to learn all of these, except space force of course, in middle school choir. I remember the Air force song being my favorite. One of the reasons being the "off with one terrible roar" part.
So five branches and a cuckoo imaginary star ship command the doesn’t exist but in paper and ………. I’m glad I’m not a gringo so my government don’t grift me out of my money on this Star Trek nonsense! 🖕🏻🖕🏻🇺🇸🖕🏻🖕🏻
You got the lyrics wrong to Anchors Aweigh. According to the Naval Academy these are the official lyrics: Anchors Aweigh, my boys, Anchors Aweigh. Farewell to foreign shores, We sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay. Through our last night ashore, Drink to the foam, Until we meet once more. Here's wishing you a happy voyage home. And these are the official lyrics to The US Air Force Song: Off we go into the wild blue yonder, Climbing high into the sun; Here they come zooming to meet our thunder, At ‘em now, Give 'em the gun! Down we dive, spouting our flame from under, Off with one helluva roar! We live in fame or go down in flame. Hey! Nothing'll stop the U.S. Air Force!
The 4th of July will be the twelth anniversary of our dad's passing. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1942 and fought in the south Pacific. He never spoke of his experience because it was too traumatic saying the only heroes of war were those who never came home.
Forrest Gump: I'm so happy that I was able to join all of your great forces" (if you didn't hear that in his voice, you really need to see the movie. or at least hear the soundtrack.
Man the marines just gave that sound that I’ve had in my head since I was 4. I’ve found myself humming the hymn growing up and even now I still do. The marines are just different. Rah devils
I am a former U. S. Army Musician. This video is incorrect. The "Casson Song" is not the Army song and never has been. The "Army Song" came into use in 1952. Secretary of the Army Wilber Marion Brucker officially dedicated the song on Veterans Day, November 11, 1956. Here it is with the correct words. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8cvljfwAyXQ.html BTW- Songs are in incorrect order. Regulations require the songs to be played according to the birth date of that branch. The U.S. didn't have a Navy in the Revolutionary War. We used civilian vessels with Marines on them.
To all the branches who serve us proud to be American thanks your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks for keeping us safe out there job well done you should be proud appreciate you guys thanks ! Joe
That transition to the Space Force anthem was utter fail. Played at half the volume of the other songs, and with no transitional phrase, it feels like the person who compiled this is ashamed of it. It's not helped by the lack of visuals. It's only 40 seconds long, you couldn't scavenge images of satellites, ground tracking stations and people in control rooms to put together a half decent visual track? It's a pity, I actually like the Space Force anthem.
