A sinner is under the control and rule of the devil. It is the then totally preposterous for God to bestow this GIFT; THE INFILLING OF HIS SPIRIT TO A SINNER. Jesus Christ is the Gift of the Father (God's Gift to the world) to the sinful man in the world! The Holy Spirit is God's Gift to the Saved, the redeemed from the 'dead'; the new Creation, the Ones that are born again! The Ones born of His Spirit!
