@@129thh Yes it can be daily driven with no problems at all. The ride is a bit firmer to your standard car but that is about the only thing that makes it a bit of a compromise. Amazing interior, smooth gearbox&engine combo, plenty of tech features, great fuel economy and very good reliability make it very convenient to drive everyday 😁
Well it really depends on one’s expectations of a car such as this. The RS Trophy and Type R are a bit more compromised in day to day usability compared to the TCR but maybe they are a bit more raw and unhinged when it comes to purely driving for fun. For me the TCR is probably still best in class as it is such a good all rounder and with a couple of smart mods and good tyres has no problem keeping up with other competitors in its class around a track. It really depends on what you are after, I don’t think there is a bad choice really. I am super happy with the TCR it really is so much fun 😅
@@andreiiiiiiiiw that would be a great choice too. When it comes to pure driving there is only very little if any mechanical difference between the TCR and Cupra. Given it’s not the 2020 TCR model as that gets the aluminum subframe. TCR holds its value a lot better and is much rarer + nicer interior and a bit better for daily as there is a bit more sound insulation in the golf compared to the Leon. Anyway you can’t go wrong with either. Leon as a pure bang for buck option can’t be beat, but is just not as exclusive as the TCR which some people find to be quite an important factor.
How'd you get your DSG to work like a Manual Transmission minus working a Clutch w/ the left foot? There are no auto downshifts or upshifts! The sounds are also heavenly :)
@@IsaAmistad Thank you 🙏 I always drive the car in manual mode using the paddle shifters or the gear lever. The auto kickdown function and auto upshift has been coded out so I am in full control of the gears when in manual mode 😉
@@josecarlosalbuquerque9880 That’s awesome ! It is not a a complete game changer it’s just nice to have the option to adjust it on the go. Enjoy your TCR 😉
Hi ! I ordered them straight from VW, just type in Clubsport S wheel hub carriers and find out the part numbers for both sides of the car. I don´t know if there are any e-shops that sell these parts so I would advise you to try from a VW dealer or somehow find them used although with the part being quite rare that could be a bit difficult. It is a costly way of getting that extra degree of negative camber but I think it is definitely worth it :)
Cool driving, cool car! 🤙🤙 Also have Audi A3 Quattro st2, these MQB cars can do a lot with just engine software and some aftermarket suspension Mine also have racing brake pads and brake discs because stock overheats very fast
@@FindoutRecords Thank you :) The difference is mostly during corner exit and the way the car pulls itself towards the apex on throttle. It is also very noticeable when it comes to traction on a slightly damp or wet road. But the non PP GTI is still a great car :)
Nice video but this guy has been tailgating and flashing me for 5 hours straight on the Austrian autobahn. My poor mk6 golf got scared and hasn’t been able to start up ever since. Reported.
