On a clear day, you can see it well from Brow Head, close to the village of Crookhaven. Pretty wild scenery there, and the history of that lighthouse is beyond fascinating.

Fabulous footage of such a beautiful lighthouse. It's such a shame that Irish Lights ruined it by that awful LED on the roof rather than leaving the sweeping beam from the Fresnel lens.
Fastnet Lighthouse and its on the Fastnet Rock or simply Fastnet is a small islet in the Atlantic Ocean south of County Cork; it is the most southerly point of the Republic of Ireland. The islet lies 4 miles southwest of Cape Clear Island and 8 miles from the Irish mainland.
