All these guys can do really is 'discuss' the future of squash in pakistan and not do anything else. Utterly pathetic. Army's unnecessary intervention with politics has ruined everything really.
Why does the non-diving player only get one shot to decide if they want to stop the rally? Shouldn’t the rule be at any point after the dive happens they should be able to call a let if they want? I get that you have to deny the diver the chance to stop or else you incentivise frivolous diving to create a let, but surely one shot for the non-diver is a ridiculously short time at this pro level. What am I missing? How is the non-diving player going to exploit my scenario? The non-diver should be able to stop whenever they want after the dive has occurred (for a let). I’m also against banning diving because I think it’s great for the game 😂
Typically, El Shorbagy is the one in the way! As decisions go, a “let” call is reasonable-but in my preferred interpretation of reality, it’s a stroke. Had “the Puma” not been in his way, El Shorbagy would have been able to return that shot with interest…six ways from Sunday.
No, he was on the T and the opponent played a shot which placed himself directly between the ball and Elshorbagy. If it weren't for how tight the shot was shedding some doubt on whether he would have returned it this could easily have been a stroke.
