So many great dolls and figures! We have similar tastes. While I love the high end Hot Toys, Enterbay, etc stuff, it's always so great to see Integrity Toys and Tonner still getting some love from collectors. There were some truly innovative dolls in the early 2000's and Integrity Toys were so much fun. One of the Integrity heads was actually used as a prop in the Dexter series, these are sought after to this day! Jakks Pacific was another company that offered great dolls back in the day. Long before Phicen/TB League produced their anatomically correct figures, Jakks Pacific had their own version that was really great. Monster High is another great property. I loved the old dolls and I love the diversity in the body types of the new figures, they truly give them so much more character. This video has me feeling nostalgic and inspired now. Cheers!
What a fun collection. That's what it's all about! You have a great mix of high end figures, vintage figures and modern figures all living harmoniously together. Trailer Trash Barbie is a must-own, I must add. I also love that you display gifts and other unique items right up in the mix. Your husband is a sweetheart for gifting you such thoughtful additions to your collection. Great video!
I was an enthusiastic collector of Sideshow figures. Premium size and the smaller versions. Mainly horror and also WW I (Red Baron). Had to sell many treasures because I moved. Unfortunately, Sideshow almost only brings out superheroes and the like. I liked the old stuff better.
I was so sad when Tonner closed shop. Fortunately for me I was able to get my hands on several of his dolls. Mine are all inspired by DC comics with three exceptions. Aside from the whole super heroes line I have Jessica Rabbit, Miss Piggy and Kermit. I love the quality and detail on all his dolls. These two you showed here are stunning!
Hi Ismael. Thank you for sharing. It sounds like you have a special collection of Tonners yourself. Jessica Rabbit, Miss Piggy and Kermit oh my! You are right, the quality and details of his dolls are superb. I’m glad you enjoyed my video. Cheers!
Hi Sharon I got both of them from Sideshow Collectibles. Unfortunately those are not available anymore. You might have some luck on EBay. Glad you like them. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
You make so many good points. No clue why Mattel does what it does. I hope they change, I like the pre-order method they did for Kenough. Hope they go there for dolls. I have missed so many as they currently work/
Although I am still waiting for Alan (from the movie) to come, I had to add this one to my collection after noticing the new face sculpt being so much more like Ryan Gosling.
Ugh this made me so mad that that alot of the sales went to scaplers again! I saw it premiere and just went with the fact i will never be able to buy it anytime soon. I got the regular Dia dios Muertos doll though.
Hi Jonathan! Thanks for joining my channel. Yes, it’s extremely frustrating how fast certain Barbies sell out fast. I’m sorry you didn’t get Pink M. I missed out on the one prior in black- darn! I’m looking forward to see what comes out next. Happy collecting- cheers! 🎈
@pxmistercollector539 yes hopefully! I saw the P M. On Mercari for sale for $219 on Tuesday Oct 10th already. Smh no shame! I saw your Thunderbirds memorialia, is there a Lady Penelope doll? That would be hilarious.
Funny you should mention Penelope… I’ve been waiting for her to ship when I heard from the company that they no longer exist. They couldn’t make it through the COVID impact. I loved their stuff. I love the Thunderbirds.
PX Mister I enjoyed today's video on Barbie the Movie dolls. You are not too old for the movie, dear friend. I am almost 70. I went to see the movie and I enjoyed it. I purchased two of the dolls- Perfect Day Barbie (pink gingham dress) and Beach Ken (with the surfboard) and of course the car. Mine inspired me, so I built the Barbie the Movie Dreamhouse from large Office Depot cardboard boxes. Mine turned out too cute. The hardest part was making those bricks. I finally bought pink foam craft paper to make the bricks. I think I bought all the pink spray paint in Walmarts. I like your Barbie pink jumpsuit girl. Too cute. I like your Cowboy Ken. He looks handsome. Those are two great choices for your collection. You should build a Dreamhouse now.
Omgosh, I so enjoyed your message. Sharon thank you so much for sharing that with me. I’m so impressed that you build your own Dream House- that’s fantastic! So fun!!! It really is a great collection and I’m so thrilled for you. Ken On Skates just arrived. He looks fun and so bright! I’ll be showcasing him soon. Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate your reaching out to me. Happy collecting🎈Cheers!
I enjoyed watching you squeal with delight on your purchase! I also collected all wave 1 Barbie the Movie. I haven’t unboxed them. I decided to purchased another Fashion closet that came with shipping Barbie box. I am planning to transform it into real working closet. I bought another pink gingham Barbie’s to dress them with these 3 outfits to be displayed also. I went to see the movies…then I will decide on how I will decorate my curio cabinet with it. Then I decided to buy the popcorn movie car also. I am super stoked to managed to get every one of these for my collection. On wave 2 dolls, I managed to preordered rest of these dolls, except pink jumpsuit Barbie and inline skating Barbie….since it was sold out when I discovered the bombshell in Mattel that Sunday night. I frantically searched on Target, Walmart and Amazon to keep checking on them. All these dolls in Mattel were sold out in a hour or less. About one hour later, I finally got pink suit Barbie in Target online… and I was puzzled to see only 2 dolls online in Target. I keep on searching…never found inline skater Barbie that was exclusive to Walmart. Ugh. Hopefully I can snag her soon when it gets online in Walmart that was rumored to be there on first of September or 15th of September. I hope you did managed to get wave 2 also. It’s big surprises how it drop that bombshell that night that leaves a lot of Barbie collectors really mad and upset to miss this. I was too because I missed that 2 Barbie’s that were sold out - never expected this being sold out that quick.😱😰
I hear ya! I couldn’t believe Mattel did that. Not cool! Just like you, I’ve been searching but no luck. Can’t find Barbie in the pink jumpsuit nor the skates. I had no luck with Maria Felix either. I’m excited to hear about your set up plans.- way cool! Thank you so much for watching my channel. I really appreciate you and I love your comments. Cheers my new friend. Until next time!
Yes cowboy ken and skating ken and barbie, these have already been released in Malaysia. I watch a lovely youtuber from Malaysia, her vids are in English and she often has Barbie items before the USA has released them!!! Love your vids and I want to see the Barbie movie again as well! I am happy for my fellow CA GIRL GRETA! First female director with over a Billion in ticket sales YAY!!!
