Hi Marcelo, thank you for your comment. Regarding the two collations, even though they both support the same alphabet, as well as Case and Accent sensitivity options, they mostly have differences when it comes to performance, and more specifically, about the the way sorting and comparison of data is performed in the case of each collation. In general, there is a tendency to use newer collations in SQL Server (i.e. Latin1_General_CI_AS) but in the end of the day, it really depends on the requirements of each implementation. Therefore, in each case, all the collation options must be evaluated accordingly.
Hi Stefanos, thank you for your comment. In case you need the database to support more than one language (i.e. both Greek and Swedish), then it is recommended to consider using unicode in SQL Server. Hi Ivan, as per official documentation, ClickOnce enables non-administrative users to perform installations/updates for an app. However, please note that even though ClickOnce installs are per-user, permission elevation may be required if there are prerequisites that require administrator privileges.
