I see you've done a few Lemmings covers, I'd love to hear one of the music from level 1, I think they titled it Pachelbel's Cannon (sic). Maybe there already is one but I can't find it... The 8-bit guy did a couple of keyboard covers of it on his 8-bit keys channel.
When I first played this game when it came out this was my least favorite track but now in my late 40s it's one of my favorites. Nice work on the recreation of it!
MOG! You actually did it! This was my favorite game when me and my brothers were still playing the MSX. You did such a great job with Castle theme, brought a tear to my eye... can't help wonder what you would do with Dungeon theme. And for some reason I keep hearing jump sounds and arrow shots. Hmmmmmm.
Been an Ultima fan since the early 80s, and this is the first time I have ever seen a beautifully done recreation, that holds the embodiment of the Ultima series. Very well done!!
Can you suggest some good editing software me and a friend are about to make our first album in over ten years and I need one where I can send him files and vice versa cause he lives across the country. We want to send samples back and forth and talk about what we think are good and bad ideas.
I'd love to see a video of you explaining your cover of Bad Apple. There was a particular high pitch sound in there that I couldn't put an instrument to. It also stood out a lot from the rest of the instruments where it was used.
I'll have to look, but I don't think I still have the project files for this one. I think the sound you referring to is essentially the plectrum/pick of the banjo being scratched onto the string itself
I am a huge fan of CV and their music, and loved this version of the music. This cover is so good, and I really enjoyed this detailed dysection of the music. Thank you very much 👏👏👏👏
Silly question, what editing software was this? I missed it… Reaper? Ableton? I started learning some recording and actually learned the low whistle because of your AI Irish video, all thanks to you and your channel. Still on the road of learning.
I use Ableton now. There's no right or wrong with D.A.W (music editing software) nowadays, just pick one you can afford and learn to use it . Reaper / Fruitiloops are good cheaper options and are just as good as more expensive ones
Outstanding remastered remix of the original soundtrack Excellent work!👍👍 Let me ask you something When you compose remake or create something new, do you have the people in mind that will hear it and apreciate it and the work you put it, Besides you putting your whole heart and soul into it? Or Do you just make what you think is the best version of what you're imagining and don't really worry much about how others will receive it or what people might think like or not? I find it fascinating to know the thought process behind it As an Artist myself i do get i spired By certain styles or circumstances And then create accordingly to that And i know it will relate and apreciated by the right people Ps. What Akira Yamaoka did with the updated soundtrack of the New Silent Hill 2 Remake is amazing, what do you think of it? If you havent heard it yet Check it out, Just search Silent Hill 2 Remake Story Trailer song "Promise"
ah man, I don't really ask myself too many questions when I make a cover. I just pick a tune I like and get on with it. A lot of the tunes I cover on the channel are old , obscure pieces most youtube users wouldn't have heard of. Stuff from the MSX or amiga for instance is certainly not as popular and well known as stuff from Nintendo for instance, but it's just what I like and where my own nostalgia is. i try to make the cover what I think is my best rendition and what fits the tune best. Sometimes it works ... sometimes it doesn't and I just keep working on it till it does :)
