I was blessed to have tremendous talent in golf and should have made it on the tour, but my work ethic was total crap and had no motivation. I never practiced or worked out at all and not even play for very long periods of time and shoot in the low to mid 70's.
What you have to take away is keeping fit and building up your swing speed, width and timing. He never said once you have to set up and swing like him. Watch his channel.
Low IQ comment. He never endorsed Trump. Trump is a great golfer and a lover of the game. Put politics aside. Btw, he gained 200k subscribers after Trump appearing on his channel. So there's that
Didn't watch video, just wanted to say, when is this guys 15 minutes of fame up? All he can do is hit the ball a long way, big deal. Rather have Rory's game or JT's game or Scottie's game. Those guys are much more well rounded and have a short game.
Setup definitely weird but he’s reinforcing good technique for everyone when he mentions creating space on backswing and applying maximum power at and just beyond impact. Cheers brother
@@vstags Yes exactly you can see he in a bit inspired by Normans single plane swing, even if its not that extreme. I like these guys that are making the complicated golf a bit less complicated.
Love how Bryson shares such detail. Really enjoy listening to Bryson so passionate about his swing. I love his youtube channel such a wealth of information.
I don’t buy his explanation! His 40* “pitching wedge” is a strong lifted 9 iron in the industry! Why doesn’t he just call it his 9 iron. Like wise for his 5 iron that is like a strong lofted 2 iron and 5 wood that has the loft of a 3 wood etc. It’s not about how much he spins it, simply about what he calls his clubs. I don’t call my driving iron a 5 iron
He has a launch and spin window that he's looking for. For example a traditional lofted 7i (34*), ideally you have 7000 rpm spin and 17* launch. I guess he adds loft at impact and struggles with too much spin, so he has lower lofted irons that still hit that window.
It’s for his vanity. He loves to say he’s hitting 7 iron x yards. Dumb people lap up his explanation about spin rates even though it makes no sense considering the 4 wedges he carries.
@@James__123 because he claims that a traditional loft PW would spin too much for him to be able to control. He plays a traditional lofted PW though. It’s his 45 degree. Writing PW on that club doesn’t miraculously alter the performance.
I've been new to golf, approx 1,5 months. Hitting with 9 130 and if i need i can go for 150m too. Been using Q club. hitting pars boogeys, double boogeys in short amount of time. What i want to say, Bryson is 100% right with one lenght irons, it works. I only follow him on RU-vid as everything in this sport is industry driven by 4 companies. Will buy his gear 100% as soon as it comes out. Believe this guy, he is really good at trying to understand physics and thinking out of the box. Go Bryson!
didnt watch this but does it even make sense to do, he plays one length irons and has an insane swing speed. wouldnt benefit anyone to know whats in his bag
I don’t care what he calls his clubs but he needs to give up on the stupid pseudo science explanation. “If I had a normal lofted PW I wouldn’t be able to control it”. How do you control the 45* wedge that is the same length as your PW then?
Hi I am Ayesha akther I analisis your RU-vid channel.i see you uploaded Huge amount video .but you don't have enough views for some issues.can i share with you?
Out of Bounds/lost ball going back to the tee. I guess it's not so bad for pro's in a tournament, but we just play them as a hazard and guess where to drop because going back to the tee 1) takes a lot of time and 2) can lead to some "unpleasant" interactions with the folks waiting to tee off. Again, maybe more for us recreational hacks.
Arent you supposed to shoot a provisional before you leave the tee box in the case you cant find your first ball...so you dont have to go back to the tee box?
@@christodd8167 I hit a ball that just trickled off the fairway into seemingly light rough. When I got there my mates and I spent a good five minutes looking for it with no luck. Why would I have hit a provisional in that case? Numerous other drives by me and my golf partners had similar results: the ball seemed to end up in a place where it would be easy to find, but ultimately went missing. Imagine slowing down play first to locate your ball, then walking back to the tee, then hitting, and maybe having to hit a couple of provisionals just in case the same thing happened again.
For an after work nine hole tournament the rule was that a lost ball could be replaced by a ball that all agreed was close to where we thought it should have ended up plus a two stroke penalty to account for stroke and distance. This was generally amenable to all.
