I was there. The last time I'd seen The Police together was at Wembley Arena in 1983. I never thought I would ever see them together live again. This was their opening number at Twickenham. I was crying so much I could barely sing. Thank you.
I was seriously looking for Herbert's Nurburgring win. This took me to my childhood. Going through magazines to figure out what to do on DOS and Windows. Except I didn't have a geek dad. These kids are lucky.
Drifting is very easy with massive power. Learn in something with very little and then u can drift anything. Volvo 1.4 is what I learnt in and as went up to 200/300bhp and higher it gets easier answer easier
Hi - just balanced on my backpack using one of those Gorilla Pod flexible tripods ... and then once I made the time-lapse and uploaded it to RU-vid, I used RU-vid image stabilization!
Hi there, I’m writing from Pioneer Productions, a TV production company in the UK, where we are currently working on a weather series for a major US broadcaster and international distribution. We are interested in featuring this video in our program. Do you own this footage? If so, and you are happy to grant us permission to use the content then please do message back at theo.cram@pioneertv.com If you do not own the footage, I would be very grateful if you could tell me where you sourced it. I hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes,
+L.Nails " It's been a week since we uploaded the video about Callum and his 3 Ferrari's and we decided it was now time to tell you the real story. The video was filmed for two reasons. First as an update to the original video we did about Callum and his Ferrari 355 (which belongs to his father) and secondly to have a bit of fun with the Presenter, Yusef who thought the whole thing was real. He's not acting, he really did think Callum was for real. What makes the whole thing such great viewing is that it was all unscripted and unplanned. We bumped into Callum and Paul at a recent event and in the video Callum was making things up as he went along. The guy is amazing and one of the nicest kids you could possibly meet!!! " That's what i discovered when i was searching a bit more about him :)
In the silence of a long overnight flight, when most were asleep, I saw a meteor out the window over the Andes. For some reason, I felt that it was one of the most beautiful things I've experienced. Seeing this reminds me of that but x 1000. Thanks for capturing this, it's truly amazing.
I used to dream about seeing the Aurora from a plane Paul, but have never been lucky enough. Not only were you lucky enough to be in the air though, but you also had the presence of mind an skill to photograph it. It is definitely a different perspective from up there.
i love that you took the time to do this. it really looks like you are in low orbit. and the fact that its silent and SLIGHTLY shaky makes me think this is some un-earthed silent film from 1920, making it even more magical
They can move quite fast - certainly fast enough to see the movement with the eye. I've only ever seen gradual movement. Most captures are time-lapses because each shot usually has to be exposed for a few seconds, as the light is so feint.
Nifty capture Paul -despite years in travel biz-it was same & only way (to this day) that I have seen remotely-good N.Lights -an Icland Air flt from Minneapolis to Reykjavik in March- & even then no reds but all greens showing. I was careful to sit on left (north-facing) side going and other side returning to get more. But while in Iceland it was solid overcast just as it was at night on a great Jan stay at beautiful Swedish Lapland's Icehotel when I certainly expected to see them.-but merely a glimmer! Also during fabulous experience pioneering small ship cruises to Arctic & Antarctica in early 90s was all in the polar-summer so missed Southern & Northern Aurora then too! So-a truly good display while on terra-firma is still on my wish list!
Thanks for the nice comments, everyone! And it gives me immense satisfaction that I could turn the stills into a little time-lapse that so many people could enjoy!
I used a Canon 6D, but the real trick is the lens ... I have a 24mm fixed ("prime", i.e. no-zoom) F1.4 lens, which lets in LOADS of light. This meant I could use ISO 2000 at 3 seconds per frame. The other trick is to use spare clothes to block out all reflections in the window!
